blood fractions not allowed

i just spoke to a friend who was a witness years ago when we were kids and she told me an interesting thing.

when she went to the hospital to discuss things due to her being pregnant and going to have a baby at this hospital , they told her that the brisbane and gold coast hospitals were no longer going to offer jw's blood fractions.

they are sick and tired of all the unclear sayings and that ppl dont even know what they will accept or not , and they are having so many problems that they have a new form to be filled out.

well, my friend said they insisted that its blood or no blood,,, no in between anymore, so if they signed off as strictly no blood, then if they died it would be their personal decision and the hospital would be free from blame. i will keep you posted. She told her mother , who in turn told an elder, and he knew nothing about it. He rang her and left a message for her to ring him back. Wonder if he will even contact the hospital to find out what is going on with the new form.

i was talking to my mum yesterday, who has been sick for about a year and hasnt been to a meeting in 8 months, due to having most of her stomach removed and esophegus because of a malignant tumor.

she says she doesnt want to go back for a while because she might get sick from the germs in the aircon and all the people , i think this is valid, coming from her , but i think there is more to it.

she said that a couple fo elders went over for a sheparding call the other night and went through a computer print out on persistance.

My ? is did they used to talk nasty and haunting to her, is she still staying with them because she is scared?? i dont know, just thought it was an odd way of decribing them. these elders also said that old pioneers get really depressed when they cannot pioneer anymore , so even if they only do 4 hours a month they are still considered pioneers to make them feel better. And in other words, making sure they still rave on to everyone about the troof even if they are too sick to walk. wether that be telephone witnessing or some other method.

i think they just went to her house because she hasnt been putting in any hours for them,,, she doesnt see it like that , she think s they care about her?? well the elders anyway

She did go to a bookstudy about 3 weeks ago with alot of courage, but when she got there , no one at all seemed thrilled to see her, or even notice she had been gone. She told me that pioneers who she considered life long friends , havnt even rung her to see how she is ,and she knows they know she has had cancer, she thinks now that they pretend to care ,but dont really . and i think she may finnally be seeing the true colours of the jws but its a while to go yet. She still sticks up for them alot.she says now she doesnt care what ppl think of her and she is going to do any thing she wants that makes her happy. I say good for her. I think she is starting to use her brain again after 40 years of jw land.

ok , its time for me to share my new found epiphony,, my bro gave me a dvd to watch, and i honestly can say it is the best thing i have ever come across in my entire life,, it basically is about positive thinking ,, explaining the law of attraction , and how everything you think about and focus on will manifest,,, good or bad.. it all seems to be comon knowledge but just gives you that extra nudge in the right direction to have a positive attitude and start to make some real acheivements towards being you.

i personally have found it very benificial and i took it to my aunty who has had very bad depression for over 4 years.

within 5 mins of the dvd starting , she was like , omg, that is exactly how i feel, and when it finnished , she was back to the same aunty i always knew she was , bubbly , happy .

it is about the law of attraction, basically what you focus on you will bring into your life,, and if you think its silly;, maybe you already apply the rules in you life, its all relitavly basic, but if you are struggling with anything, it can be a life saver..... judge for yourself,,if u dont want to buy it , find someone who has a copy and just share it around, then u got nothing to lose.

I couldnt believe I found something that would have such a great impact on her , but I know why. She has had moments of coarse where she feels down , but with stratergies on the dvd has started to make progress in the right direction , that was 2 weeks ago, and she has rang me about 4 times, being mind blown, saying it is really working. I am so grateful to have seen it and would like to know if anyone else has seen it , it was on the ellen show early december and has been in big demand,, all shops here in australia are sold out of the dvd.

i just saw this questionare that asks you 20 ??

on your own thoughts or beleifs,, then it gives you a % of which ones you are most attracted to.. my highest came up church of christ, and scientist,, followed closely by new age ,, jw came in at 50 % i was hoping it would be less, but it was an interesting couple of minutes to spend my time,, my bro is church of christ, and i went once or twice and found it good, just still feel abit lost to actually going full steam ahead with a particular way, would rather just sit back and look, and take care of myself and family as best i can.... http://www.beliefnet.com/story/76/story_7665_1.html.

they are basically saying, yes people DO get embarrassed by their children, and it ruins the family reputation,,

i love it too how there is literallly no usefull information, that could actually help,, just blithering on about rubbish,, no wonder my parents were no use bringing up teenagers,, they were brain dead....
