  ITS SO NICE TO SEE LIKE MINDS~ I THINK?

  i'm sorry to see so many likes minds as mine...i think~~anyway..i am a red blooded american male looking for love...but how do i explain where i was, or what i thought, am why i am a little confused about certain subjects.

  and does this mean i must find a wtsociety throwaway as myself to be understood...because i'm afraid to explain this to anybody...do want to be in a str8 jacket..lol anyways ..its so nice to meet ya all....rad.....

  Hey - this weekend is our 28th

  sabine and i will be celebrating our 28th anniversary this weekend!

  woooohoooo!

  and they (parents and gloom and doomers from the kh where we first met) said it would not last because we were in our teens when we got married - me 19, her 18.. we have been through some very tough times, (the hardest of course the death of our daughter) - however, the good times and prospects for the future far outweigh the bad.

  Hubby has Cancer.........

  and my heart is breaking!..we just had it confirmed today.

  he has 9 months to live so they say.

  among all the heartbreak and pain he is crying and begging me to go to the kingdom hall with him.

  My husband also died from an incurable disease last year and at the time I had stopped going to the Kingdom Hall. One of his last requests was that I attend the Memorial with him, his last one ever, and I went. I went for no other reason than to show my love and respect for him.

  The decision is a hard one, I know. Do what is in your heart. My prayers are with you. Love, Dutchie

  Can "Wordly" people go to book studies?

  never being a jwi have a question.

  my dub friend invited me to her church (whatever) one sunday, which i of course i went - it was ok - nothing special, except i know what you mean about being "love bombed".

  my question.... do any non-dubs go to the weekly bookstudies?

  Non-dubs can attend the weekly book study. However, the book study is not the place to ask probing questions.

  If a non-dub does make the mistake of asking a question that is not in line with the study, then the conductor will simply say that he will talk to that person after the study is over. There is an alloted amount of material to go over each study and an allotted amount of time.

  The unspoken rule is that if you have questions and you are not baptized, save them for the person who is conducting your bible study. Dubs will be glad to inform the non-Dub, that "Jehovah is a God of order not of disorder" and so people can't be asking questions willy nilly. There is a time and a place for everything.
