  Did you get anyone into the Borg?

  i am fortunate enough to say "no.

  " i tried very hard to get people to come to meetings and assemblies...and during it all i was bored out of my mind and had a voice in my heart keep saying "what if what you think is the 'truth' is not really the "truth" and you stand before the throne to be judged?

  would these people take your place and die for you because you believed in them and not jah?

  i really don't know where to start with this....it's so personal, and i'm so confused.

  when i left bethel, i was a basket case, and married my first wife while i was still in mental/emotional limboland.

  i loved her from the bottom of my heart (as best i can imagine what that means), and meant what i promised "till death do us part.

  Onacruse, you mentioned that you didn't want to make the same mistakes again.

  Frankly, I fail to see where you made a "mistake" the first two times. You were married for 9 years and then 17 years. Those are long marriages and it shows that you certainly can trust your instincts in picking marriage mates.

  I'd follow the sage advise of Farkel and get to know yourself first. Then, after awhile, when you feel comfortable with you, it'll be the time to think about marriage again.

  Society profiting from Conventions

  i am sure that this has been talked about, but i would love to hear recent input.

  there have been district assemblies where parking is charged, and all the "brothers and sisters" who are taking time off of work, etc, and cannot afford to go to this assembly but have to go, are paying good money for admission to the stadium.

  many times not allowing come and go privledges.

  I don't know how accurate this information is, but I was told that the real reason that the society does not allow the food concessions to open during the assemblies is because they asked for a percentage of the profits from the total sales of food and the union for the concessionaires refused to allow that.

  What Did The Angels Know?

  revelation 12: 9 of the new world translation, says: .

  so down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called devil and satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth, he was hurled down to the earth and his angels were hurled down with him.".

  it has always been interesting to me that when satan rebelled a lot of the angels went along with him in his rebellion.

  TR, I have always believed that the old woman in the shoe was a bit of a trollop. If you remember that was never any mention of the old man in the shoe. So where did all those kids come from? Just speculation on my part, but perhaps she was a street walker, never had access to birth control and so kept popping out babies. Also, she was obviously not getting any support from any of the fathers. Als an aside, Child Protective Services should have really put her behind bars because before she put the poor starving children to bed she beat them. Obviously, she was also strung out on some sort of opiant.

  All around, a sad, sad situation.

  I HAVE CANCER

  i found out the other day that i have endometrial cancer.

  needless to say, i'm shocked, angry and desperate.

  i blame this on my incompetent doctor who did absolutely nothing when i first went to him two years ago and said "there's something wrong here.

  Silent Lambs Press Conference in Nashville TN

  just checking in to share the details of our local press conference!!

  it turned out to be a handfull of us there, including: barbara and joe anderson, tatoomom, and myself.

  all in all it went very well.... we didn't even have any dubs show up..... i guess they were on their mcdonald's break at the time!!

  i just saw a dub at lunch time, in manhattan, on a busy street, looking like a human magazine rack.. .

  my question is, did you ever get embarrased standing in such a public place?

  Larry, I can totally empathize with your situation. I liked meeting for field service too, talking to everybody, telling stories. It was sort of fun. It was the going out in service that I hated. Besides, just showing up and letting everybody see how spiritual I was, was actually my goal. I had put in my appearance and so, heck, I was ready to go home!

  News Conference in PC Florida

  well, after being frustrated since last saturday trying to get the local newspaper to do an article about silentlambs and the up coming march, hubby got a hold of the local tv station and they have just left after interviewing him and i about our involvement with the silentlambs and speaking up for that issue.

  they didnt want to film us in front of the kingdom hall so we had them come to our house and do the filming.

  (they filmed us in our office looking at the silentlambs website and then holding the latest wt 10/15/02, with the front cover saying who is behind all evil?
