The other day at a bookstudy the topic of apostates came up and the head zombie (conductor) asked "Why don't we need to hear the other side of the story?" Everyone stopped and "thought" for a little while. I bolted myself to my seat so as to avoid screaming at the top of my lungs. After a long pause someone answered "Because this is what Jehovah's telling us right HERE" and pointed to his revelation book.

The head zombie had a look of contentment on his face and the bobble-heads kept nodding and nodding...

I wonder If anyone notices I haven't nodded in a LONG while.

JW kids with Bebo & other such accounts. Its scandelous!

for those who dont know, bebo is a kind of free web site thing that you can use to put lots of info about yourself, friends & pictures etc.

i think its a bit like myspace or whatever its called.. anyway, i got asked to look at an individuals page and of course it had links etc to this persons friends.

all were jw`s.. if i were still a witness, the stuff that is put on these websites would have concerned me.

I use myspace and it's a little bit of normalcy. Of course it's banned by the society in their little fucking additions to the bible they call "letters".

Fear of Dying = Fear of Hellfire. Pretty much the same thing other churches use. The funny thing is that any "Torture" you receive while on earth for leaving the org is MUCH WORSE that simply dying forever. IMO.

i am curious, what amount people on this board from their experiences of being a baptised & active jw and their subsequent exit from the jw org (for whatever reason or reasons) are now either agnostic, atheist or do some actually still believe in god?.

MySpace is dying...

lately i've noticed more and more jw groups on myspace seem to be disappearing and losing members.

at first i egotistically thought might have something to do with my efforts (i sometimes suffer from delusions of grandeur).

however, a couple posts came to my attention on two of the private jw groups.... .

Yeah, I heard the myspace letter at the meeting.

But all my Dub friends are on it. I got into a big fight with the wife over it. She doesn't know I have a profile.

I should show her my apostate myspace profile. lol
