  Funny Symbol - Anyone Recognise It?

  hi guys... on an off chance that someone here might know..... my manager is one of those very well spoken, very clean cut & well attired breed of men.

  however he wears this dull gold ring that looks very ordinary.

  it has me intrigued because it just doesn't match up with everything else.

  Defending what you can't defend

  ya know when a dub is fighting something just because they are a dub but they can see its wrong?.

  me and megan proved that jesus had died on a cross and yet mum refused to accept it.. there is a scripture in john 22 where thomas is invited to put his finger in the holes in the hand(s) of jesus where the nail(s) were.

  with it being nails and hands you get the impression of two and not one, mum wouldn't accept that tho lol.

  How about, (since you are trying to use the bible) asking them about the following verse in light of the whole blood ordeal? Also PM me, I have some good private articles written by ExJW friends that use the bible very well to show that blood is ok among humans, but not from animals...nevertheless, humans are encouraged by Jesus to give blood and take blood!

  This is my commandment, that ye love one another, even as I have loved you.

  Joh 15:13

  Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

  Joh 15:14

  Ye are my friends, if ye do the things which I command you.

  This is as good as saying, "Lay down on the table and give your blood to help your buddy. Even if it means dying for him." I really don't see how any JW could ever argue against this. This is a good verse for proving self defense is ok too! The reason we KNOW for SURE that this verse actually means give blood is because JW's already know that "THE LIFE IS IN THE BLOOD" right?? Well then, the word BLOOD could very easily be used there instead of LIFE in the verses above!

  The Human Race

  shalom everyone,.

  i have come to the conclusion in my lab, (and no it's not a meth lab), that the human race is absolutely, beyond any reasonable doubt, stupid.

  the human race is indeed the silliest form of life on the planet.

  Well, I was actually looking at it from a different perspecitve I suppose. I was thinking of how animals don't have a verbally structured language like us that continually progresses into more words then George Carlin can insult. We also have decided to make pants and shirts and fruit of the loom underpants. We got real dressy along the way somewhere, as opposed to just hacking a buffalo's skin off and wrapping it around our genitles. Then there's this whole technology barrier. I don't know many porcupines that have a PC. I don't know many horses that use cell phones either. Most of them just produce horse-apples and graze and hope their back pain eases up because Sammy Steakeater has been riding him to the local saloon all week long.

  I suppose I am basically saying that animals can do with just the basics on earth, while we feel that we must "expand our minds" while creating more and more greenhouse gas effects and become more attached to things. The desire I currently am working on is losing this stupid "attachment" emotion. I am not saying I want to become Mr. Spock or anything, but it would be nice to be less emotional about the loss of life. It should really be natural to us, yet we continue to pamper our young and treat them like little treasures instead of the little shits they really are...

  I'm celebrating my 4th Birthday!!!

  you can all see what my real age is but it is only the fourth time that i have celebrated my own birthday - how sad is that!

  anyway, i've been opening presents, reading cards and scoffing doughnuts - it's great!

  also, marie and i are getting ready to drive up to manchester tomorrow for the apostacurry - we can't wait to meet everyone, particularly ian and claire.

  Actually the idea that he died on a stauros is what the bible says. There is no proof whatsoever that it was a cross. The JW's are dead right about this one. Both hands would have had nails through them whether on a crux or stauros. The Greek happens to be dead accurate on this one though. The other verses that say he was hung on a tree seem to indicate the hands over head traditional Jewish style of hanging too. The Jews had a few execution methods to choose from for Pilate to use. Beheadding would have been another...
