IN other words, I was trying to find out why Sunday is the day to meet on, and why Christians have always chosen that day, when it has nothing to do with the bible other then one verse in 1 Cor 16 which is dealing with a one time only collection for dying saints.

So how do we avoid keeping the 10 commandments? And how are they bad? I never understood this as a witness or bible reader. It seems to me that all the things written in the 10 commandments are good, and it seems that the ark is still with God in Revelation 11:19, so how can the commands themselves be gone? I think it is just referring to the tablets they were written on, and the law is supposed to be written now on our heart according to Jeremiah 31:31-34... So the Sabbath is "good holy and righteous" as Paul says... We are supposed to "do good on the sabbath day" and recognize Messiah as "the lord of the sabbath" and that the "sabbath was made for MAN" right?

Help me corner them!
by Sam87 inhi everyone, just would like a bit of advice on how to 'corner' my ex jw mates so they see im right with only what their publications say and with the bible?
i have a few ideas up my sleave but i was hoping to get a few other good examples on other topics like the blood thing, but only prove them wrong using their material, that way they cant say its 'apostate' (although you never know what some jws will come up with these days).. for example whats the best and least confusing way to explain the blood thing?
we really need a reference on all of this so that we can make up a single letter that exsplains everything that they have contradicted themselves with and all the mixed up stuff they have done, straight to the point and soooo simple that even a jw can read and understand it (maybe a nice picture book with colouring in?).

The best way to explain why it is good to lay down your life and give blood or even die for your neighbor or loved one is what Jesus said in John 15:13... The man who spilt blood for others said to do so as well!

Only a troll who isn't thinking of the little imaginary dwarf creature that lives under bridges would ask that question in a blog/forum like this. Obviously the jig is up. Of course I could be very wrong. Your post history indicates one of WT intellect though, whether current or not, I am not sure. Either way. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Those little green monsters under my pillow at not that scare butters when he is sweeping.... Ok wait... You want to corner your EX-JW mates??? Can't help you there.. They are in the right. Ex JW's will one day rule the earth as kings and priests from the Playboy mansion with Heff and a lot's of cigars and guys dressed like Al Capone.... Homer once said "I love you too Pepsi.."

You would be happy to know that there are many fabulous Messianics out here in the world who would rather associate with a Methodist or Catholic before speaking to a JW. Even though all Christianity is deceived and wrong for abandoning the Sabbaths and holy feasts and clean foods, tassels, etc. Mainly because the JW's have made the false assumption that Messiah already "returned" invisibly. A lot of Messianics see the 2nd coming and false prophets associated with that as the #1 sin or Anti-Christian action. Most of them will shun the average Christian just for using the false Greek word "Jesus Christ" to describe Yahshua.

CONTEST! See who can answer this really hard dub/bible Question.
by gumby inaint i a clever bastard?
i worded that there thread title so's i get you to read this and help my poor forgetful, used to remember, brain out and show me some documentation using jw's vs. christendom teachings on this question.
here's the question.. how do you prove to a jehovah's witness that the "great crowd" spoken of in the book of revelations is a group who's eternal hope is a "heavenly one" rather than a "seperate" group of jesus followers with a seperate eternal residential destiny?.

I don't see how you prove from the bible that anyone goes to heaven. There are no verses suggesting that at all. The 144,000 from the 12 tribes will inherit land here on Earth, and so will the others. The resurrection hasn't happened yet, everyone who ever died is dead right now in Sheol, and that's that. The bible tells the tale of when Messiah returns he will resurrect the faithful dead and they will rule as Kings and Priests here ON the Earth (Rev 5:10, Matthew 5:5). There is nothing about anyone other then the high priest entering the holy of holies.

Let's Get A Woman For President
by Butters inuh, hey guys, i was kinda wonderin' what you all think of a woman for president here in 2008?
i like the idea myself... in another thread i said "i noticed that i found myself more sorrowful for military funerals then i used to be, and i am finally starting to see christmas as an act of love, and not so much a disobedience to god's ways.
i often thought of how jesus took the pharisee's traditions and explained how they were evil, because of how they were being used.
