I graduated!
by Dawn init's been a while since i've posted - been busy with family, work and school.
missed a lot of you - see a lot of new faces!
just had to get on tonight and let you old timers know that i finally did it - i graduated with my bs in computer science.

MY OBSERVATIONS FROM THE MEMORIAL TONIGHT (just got home)
by Mary inwell, as per usual, the memorial talk bored the hell out of me, but i found it, in one way to be an improvement over last years when they had the most boring speaker on the planet there http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/111544/1.ashx this guy at least knew how to speak.
unfortunately, he didn't have much of a script to work with.. there was the mention of adam sinning and mankind needing a redeemer etc., no mention of when the israelites left egypt though.
that's probably the first year i've ever seen where this hasn't been mentioned.

Are you a faster typer because of the forum?
by avidbiblereader inmost people that i am around in real estate are peckers or pickers, they can't type fast, has the forum made you a faster typer.. yes or no?.

not really.
I took some typing classes in junior high, and one in high school.
However, those classes have helped in typing long posts on forums. =)

Massive increase in baptisms
by Zico ini had my special assembly day last saturday, i missed this part as i was on a walk, but my family told me about it, and i've confirmed it with 2 other witnesses.
in one of his talks, our 'special' speaker, who is also a do, said: 'baptisms this service year have already exceeded baptisms for the whole of last year, and that's before the conventions!
' obviously this can't be verified until the figures are released next year, and it wasn't clear whether he meant worldwide or just britain, but either way it's concerning, and i would guess that the 'bible teach' book has been very effective.
