  Devilution!

  as you know, this month is "evolution is evil" month.. i wasn't paying too much attention at this week's meeting, but i'll share what i did manage to hear.. this was a #3 assignment, and one lady was "concerned mom," and the other was "worldly teacher.".

  basically, concerned mom (or cm) went to worldly teacher (wt) to tell her that she doesn't want her son in the class for the next couple of weeks.

  because she'll be teaching evolution.. wt says, "i believe that all the evidence shows that we evolved and blah blah blah" and cm says "well, let me show you this bs from the bible.

  science!

  after hearing the stupidity of last sunday's watchtower about trusting the bible over science, no matter what, i'm ready to educate myself.. science wasn't one of my strong subjects in high school; didn't like formulas and all that, but i'm ready to learn now.. so, where should i start?.

  ok, so i have to give a 5 minute presentation for my ccna 1 class.. the problem i'm having is that it's mostly theory, and i don't want to repeat something we covered in class already.. any suggestions?.

  Could it be stress or a nervous breakdown?

  ok, in december '07, i was a little freaked out about what could happen to you if you don't pay on your student loans.. i calmed down when i found out out i don't owe that much.. in january '08, i had food poisoning for the first time.

  that passed in two or three days.. in february '08, i had food poisoning again.

  that passed in two days also.. however, that same week i got home from work one day, and slept for 10 hours straight.

  Diabetes, MS, or other?

  other than weighing around 250 lbs.

  and eating out a lot every week, i have no health problems, i've never been to the hospital, and i hope to stay that way.. ok, so in dec. or jan. i got food poisoning for the first time 'cause i wasn't watching what i was eating and i ate the skin, or scales, whatever, of some fish.. i was ok in a couple of days, although i had a headache for one day.. in feb., i got food poisoning again.

  Body Numbness

  last wednesday, i went to bed at 1:30 am, woke up at 4:30 am due to food poisoning, and i couldn't go back to sleep.

  i went to work, and when i got back, i went to bed at 6 or 7 pm.

  i didn't wake up until the following morning, on thursday.. my body felt slightly numb, but i thought i slept wrong.

  Feel like crying sometimes- Student Loan Debt

  i went to a tech school because it seemed like a great idea at the time; i didn't even give community college a thought back then.. anyway, the total program cost something like ~$36k.

  this was 4 years ago.

  i was only 17.. i didn't learn anything, and now i have this massive debt.. the lender is sallie mae, and yes, i know they're horrible.. i am going to find out how many loans i have and hopefully, i won't have any private loans.. so, i was wondering if consolidation is a good idea?.

  goddamn, mind-numbing is an understatement.. anyway, it was really weird hearing all the drones talk about jesus so much, but of course, at the end of the day, their hidden agenda wasn't so hidden anymore.

  share your bad job experiences here.. i have been unemployed for approximately a year.

  i've been to three or 4 interviews this and last month.

  still unemployed.
