It is really rich that he told you not to believe everything you read in the papers, but when they slam the various "false" religions from the platform, they use this very medium for source material. What is good for the goose...

No more JWs in my family
by Crooked Lumpy Vessel inthe last remaining one in my family is now out.
she cracks me up though.
she and her husband split up after 7 years of marriage and she started dating a guy that she met at a tikki hut bar.

Being df'd is great from the aspect that you get left alone! No more pesky elders snooping into your life! Kudos to your relative for having the strength to meet them head-on!

I never saw the big deal with the Y membership. It amazes me how trivial the borg is. Maybe dubs should not eat at Chik-Fil-A since the owner espouses religious views such as not working on the "Sabbath".

My hubby just laid down some rules to my elder dad
by Es inrecently an elder called mike's mob phone wanting to speak to me, the only person who could have passed on that info was my elder dad.
mike has been waiting for my dad to call him to arrange to see the kids, as he wont deal with me at all.
so mike said to him i dont appreciate you giving our number out to the elders, we want nothing to do with them or your religion etc... mike than called me and said there was so much more i wanted to tell him.. i get a phone call about 30 mins later, mike had rang my dad and said if you want to see your grandkids then there are a few rules you will need to follow, 1. dont ever give out our personal details (which my dad apologised for and acknowldeged that he shouldnt have done that ) and 2. if you want to see your grandkids you need to speak to your daughter, you can msg her phone or even speak to her.

In my area, we have an outreach program that helps people in your situation. Call the local unemployment office and see if you have a similar program. Do you have any kindly grandmother types in your neighborhood that could help out in a pinch? Look for an online discussion board for single parents in your area--you might find some valuable resources that way too.

When I graduated high school, college was heavily frowned upon and so I took one class a semester and I was weighed down with guilt. My cong had quite a few kids graduate at the same time and several of them went into pioneering directly.
Two years ago, I finally got my Associates degree and last month I completed my BS. I am going into a Masters program in the fall. My only regret is that it took soooo long to get my degrees because I was trying to be a "good" dub. I am glad I finally completed the majority of my education though and the work prospects are much better--despite Borg propaganda to the contrary.

I have to say that you are one of my favorite posters! Maybe we could run a contest to guess what you do for secular (to use a barfy old borg term) work!
Cheers!
