many of you are familiar with the channel c discussion group, a christians-only discussion group with a fairly large xjw component.. even though i would never be permitted to post on channel c (i'm the lowest form of creation, you know, an atheist), i like to check in with the channel c crowd every so often to see what "watchtower world" stories i might have missed.

i hold no antipathy toward christians, i just don't agree with their conclusions.

live and let live and all that.

2nd grader was sent home from school after the class was asked to draw something relating to the holidays.

he had been with his dad a couple of weeks before to a church function and saw these types of crosses on display.

the misuse of fortman by the wt society has been documented at a few websites.

Closure of an Elder run JW forum

some of you may know of a longstanding jw owned and operated forum named "touchstone forum" (www.touchstoneforum.net/cgi-bin/yabb2/yabb.pl).

wrench, the elder who ran the board, closed its doors rather quickly a couple of weeks ago, and has refused to discuss the reasons for the closure.

no announcement of closing.
