LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The following is a joint statement by Jacob and Joshua Miller of the pop-rock band Nemesis and reality stars of "Jacob & Joshua: Nemesis Rising":
The two of us were just informed that last night a Jehovah's Witness meeting took place in our hometown of Kalispell, Montana.At this meeting it was announced to all members of the Jehovah's Witness organization that wehave been, as Jehovah's Witnesses would say, "disfellowshipped" (excommunicated) because of our homosexuality and our participation in our reality show, "Jacob & Joshua: Nemesis Rising," on Logo.
According to Jehovah's Witness doctrine, being "disfellowshipped" means that we have been found guilty of unrepentant gross misconduct.Our immediate family is to have limited or no contact with us.And all other practicing Jehovah's Witnesses around the world are not to speak with us ever again.
Although we are no longer Jehovah's Witnesses, we have nothing but love for those individuals who have been asked to shun us.We will continue to be in contact with our family and those who truly love us unconditionally as long as they're willing.
We find it ironic that a religion whose members are asked to knock on the doors of strangers with a message of acceptance into paradise on Earth will not accept two of its own children for who they really are.Our wish for them is one of tolerance and understanding and we send to all of them a message of peace and love.

Sent my Disassociation Letter
by love2Bworldly inwell i sent my letter of disassociation to my relative's kh.
i got really burned out on her nuttiness so for my own sanity and emotional/mental health i had to do it.. i feel very sad because i know i hurt this person by some of the things i said in the letter; i cc'd the letter to several people in my family who have also been hurt by her nuttiness.
i wrote the letter and mailed it in a bad frame of mind.

What or Who do JW's believe is Gog/Magog?
by booker-t inwhen i was a young kid in the 70's and we studied the "nation shall know that i am jehovah" book it really scared me especially the part of gog/magog.
they way the elders would constantly tell us that we did not love jehovah enough and we should do this and do that.
i remember one time the bookstudy conductor told my bookstudy group that "if you all don't want to be part of gog/magog you should pioneer".

Excellent post Dogpatch! Fear, shame and guilt seems to be a key factor in keeping members under thumb! Those in the org are blinded by the propaganda printed by the Watchtower Society and those that have left have been trying hard to figure out a way to bring the active ones to the real "light". Fear is the most effective for the Watchtower Society to keep its members. They are to scared to leave! I remember when I first started at "apostate" web sites, I was scared to death. Well, later I realized it is not the so called apostates I needed to fear. It was the Watchtower Society's doctrine that posed the real threat.

supposedly, i went up and down the west coast, gathering up followers, and then secured a church building in the seattle area.
the book, crisis of conscience, mentioned that allegations were made against some bethelites who supposedly secured a meeting location, and started a religion known as 'sons of freedom' or 'sons of liberty.

Our Lawsuit against the WTS
by gordon d incan anyone share their input (stupid question) on the possibilties of former jw's or df'd dubs filing a personal or class action lawsuit against the wts or it's local congregations based upon defamation of character.
in some states there is the provision of a slander/libel suit based upon "malicious use of truthful information".
i would think that some precidence has been established by similar suits against other social and religious groups.

Thats interesting to know Blondie! Thanks for sharing! It seems as though the Society has different rules for certain parts of the US, based on the laws within a particular state. Funny how on the forefront they try so hard to make it look as though they're outstanding citizens obeying the laws of the land as the bile seemingly says to do, but I am wondering why they continue to ignore the one that Jesus stated regarding taxes, where it says to pay back ceasars things to cesar, etc.
Where I grew up, they always taught that cremation is the only was to go. But cremation does not give the loved ones time to greive, which is a process they need! Thats just my opinion, not to say it is correct. Would you mind if I barrow your post, Blondie? Thanks for posting that!

Thats very interesting since the Society has always encouraged cremation without a real funeral service, thus taking away from loved ones grieving process and now there is this site to help those remember? Good lord, money making racket for sure.
Whats even more interesting is the fact that no where in the bible does it discuss anyone being creamated except criminals being burned! Even Jesus was not cremated according to the bible that is. His body seemingly disppeared into thin air. And my question is, if God truly wanted to keep anyone from tampering with the body of Christ Jesus, why did God not say, cremate Him? It was only the criminals that were burned.
