  it was probably the second most common reason aside from fornication and adultrey.

  Stumbling block?

  well this should be my last post before i go to bed, im well past my bedtime.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------you remember back in your jw days when the wt society's publications rambled on and on about stumbling people, you know they would always say "dont do this, you could stumble someone, dont do that you could stumble someone" but whenever someone stumbled you they would reply "thats silly, you cant be stumbled, it's your fault for letting yourself be stumbled" doesnt it amaze you how they can talk out of both sides of their mouths?

  Sub-for-Santa, a nonprofit organization I work with, donates gifts to families in need every December. This year we're "adopting" a Jehovah's Witness family. I know Jehovah's Witnesses don't celebrate holidays, but is it OK to wrap the gifts we purchased in a nonholiday wrapping paper?
  The problem here is not the wrapping paper but the day prompting the gift, since Jehovah's Witnesses consider Christmas to be a pagan holiday. J. R. Brown at the Jehovah's Witnesses Office of Public Information suggests not doing anything the week of Christmas itself. Also, you might consider providing a service for the family rather than giving a gift. That way, you'd show that you care, but your gift might not be seen as a Christmas present.

  a teenager had his lower right leg bitten off by a great white on the weekend in esperance, australia.

  he was rescued by two kiwis who stopped the bleeding and got him to hospital.

  on monday night the tvnz news said that jehovahs witnesses wanted the rights to his story!!!
