  I am angry.

  my marriage is falling apart.

  i loved her, she no longer loves me.

  i was so angry i only slept for 45 minutes last night and worked for 14 hours.

  Investing in friendships on this board

  i've been reading the thread about posters you miss hearing from.

  some of you sound like you've invested a lot of "heart" in developing a raport with certain posters over a long period of time only to find suddenly they stop posting and your "friendship" has disappeared overnight.

  you miss them and wonder what happened to them.. how is that any different from what we experienced when our "friends" at the kh stopped calling or coming by.

  I'm trying to make freinds with people here.
  
  Before, I liked to keep my freinds and JWness seperate. I was embarassed to have it mix.
  
  But I know the freinds I have are accepting of me, and if I make freinds off of JWD, then they won't mind.
  
  
  I think I've found the first freind of many.

  Santa Clause, Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy...

  i recall witnesses saying how evil wordly parents were by "lying" to their children about these characters.

  how witness children were fortunate that their parents always told them the truth.. so, i wonder, have you ever met an adult who was messed up because of having found out that santa clause and friends were not real?

  are therapist's couches everywhere filled with these poor souls?

  hi everyone - i have posted only a couple times here but felt the urge to let loose a little bit today.

  i am 41 years old, and after being brainwashed for the last 35 years, i can no longer continue as a jw - i have not been inside a kingdom hall in over a year, my friends and family have shunned me and i have very few associates outside of "the truth".. now i am not here to cry and feel sorry for myself.

  but i would like to hear from some who are/were in a similar situation.

  i have been a lurker for the last year...finally got the courage to post.

  i guess you could say that i have successfully completed a "fade", although that was not my initial intent.

  due to my being in an "unscriptural" separation for a number of months, (that, combined with my paranoia, hence, the alias) i have been forced to go underground.

  Should Jehovah’s Witnesses Be Held Responsible For Shunning?

  i recall my viewpoint about apostatesi despised them thoroughly.

  thewatchtower called for shunning all of those who rejected gods .

  I think each person should have a degree of responsibility. "Following orders" just isn't good enough for me.
  
  
  I've never proactively shunned anyone. My cousin got DFd, but she didn't want to be talked to.
  
  And an Aunt I have that's out apparently has no desire to talk to any of our family either.
  
  
  So I don't think I really shunned anyone before...
