  although not in print yet - 440 bethelites reassigned, was the figure i heard from the platform as to how many bethelites have been reassigned to the field in one way or another in the usa

  I would have to dig up my notes but at least 2200 were let go as per bethel member around 2006.I mean let go not asigned to anything but just told to leave.I thought man this Org. is hard as nails.The kicker is at the last D.C. they keep asking for young one for bethel service.Special meeting for bethel service for those between the ages of 18-35 however,those younger than 18 are welcome to attend.Yeah we want them young after we are done with you and you get old we will kick you out.There are more fish in the sea as it were.

  more than 5,600 homes of fellow believers and 90 kingdom halls damaged.robert one of the volunteers has this to say:"jehovah takes good care of his people".also he gave up his job of over 40 years,to clean offices.you would think that after 40 years he would not have to work.. gregory: saw the light and sold his house and bought a pickup truck and trailer.nice move with the price of gas.a truck is handy for the field ministry.

  BLIND Cave Salamanders

  salamanders whose eyes are not fully functioning use less food than those with fully functioning eyes, which burn more energy to produce retinal chemicals and electrical discharges.. it only makes sense then, that over the few thousand years since the noachian flood, that the salamanders stranded who inherited defective eyes (ie -that burned less food) would survive longer than those with good eyes that used energy anyway.. the non working eyes are an excellent example of the "vestigial organs" which the witchtower claims do not exist.. hb.

  besides the folks walking with signs at each convention, what was your first taste of "apostasy"?

  my first interesting experience happened within the kingdom hall.

  So why did God have Satan in Heaven since the beginning of mankind until 1914?What kind of corrupt Gov't was he running.Oh, I forgot the WT is not to swift when it comes the Bible knowledge.So heaven was in the power of Satan until 1914.

  How do JW's arrive at 537BCE for the release of the jews by Cyrus?

  from all of my research so far on the 607 issue the only argument that jw's have for it is the 70 year period counting backwards from 537bce.

  as 539bce is the accepted date for cyrus conquering babylon, why do they say 537bce is the date he released the jews and not 538bce or 536bce for instance?.

  Who decides these calculations.Where do they get weeks=days=years. These people calculate the precise date of 1914 however, they DO NOT know when Jesus Christ was born.Prove it in the Bible.

  it has been interesting for me to learn the various ways that the jws twist the scriptures to fit their own dogma.

  (of course jws aren't alone in that, but that's another topic.

  ) two quick examples of jws not following or going beyond the bible are blood and birthdays.

  alright, so i'm reading on this site, and i'm not 100% sure what it's about.

  it appears to be a bunch of former jw people bashing everything they can get their hands on in relation to jw's.. .

  i was brought up as a jw, but when i got older and started to think for myself, i began to realize that i didn't agree with their teachings.

  When I read the O/T of the Bible it's like todays News A whole lot of killing, corruption.The Head guy of the O/T Gov't was NOT a nice fellow.I do like what his Son had to say in the N/T.
