Guilt trip on R&F if you don't preach

there is a certain feeling in the air,that you must preach and to knock on doors.they like to as an example,if you know that there's a tornado or some bad weather is coming and you don't say anything or warn the people,you bear resonsibility for the lives lost.the wbts looks at it the same way.thus the gulit trip for not going from door to door.. now this is about as stupid as a queer in a whorehouse.the gb of the wbts should be guilty of not warning the people,by modern technology methods.they should be using,t.v.,radio,internet,satellite etc.not this bull dung of going from door to door.how would they like it if a tornado hit their new printery in wallkill,n.y.

and the government sent troops form door to door to warn their volunteer workers.how about their properties in brooklyn,n.y.

so don't give me this guilt story of preaching from door to door as the most effective.just look at the history of how many people lost their lives in the past due to tornados because they did not have the modern technology of warning people as compared to today.get off you high horse and if you think your message is so important to warn people than use the proper methods.. bob.

Thanks for your input.The reason I post this topic is because of all the news about the D.C. and the end is so near.Also you see some convention person making comments on T.V.,newsprint,etc,etc.We are near the end they will say because look at the economy,swine flu,wars,etc.Than we have those that are a brick short of a full load and will parrot what what the GB tells them in the WT.You hear it every Sunday,the best way to reach people is D-to-D.The most effective way is D-D it says right here it para 2,4,6,8,14.

I agree with HB they had a very effective way in WBBR.In fact they were the leaders in nation wide radio b'casting.Why they stopped, only God knows.Also some mentioned the preaching in Jesus's time.The way I see it through out history you did what you had at the time.In JAYSEE time it was word of mouth and by foot.Before the automobile it was by foot or horse.You know what I'am saying.Not that long ago you sent a letter,today it is email.Would you go back to horse and buggy.Just imagine all the new technology.Even those bozos in WT HQ use all the new technology.Would they go back to hand writing all the Mag's or even go back to the old typewriter.

Maybe I should clarify work/employment,I just use that as a figure of speech.My take on this is the speed of which they are implementing the no work on Saturday.There must be more to it than meets the eye.Remember back in the early 90's and the donation arrangement.It wasn't until someone until someone pointed out the reason for that change.Why the change in 2 weeks.Maybe someone can find out?

in recent years the leaders (groverning body) of the wbts told thousands of their volunteers to leave new york.

bethel hq.many of these sold their houses and cars gave most of their money the the wbts,took a vow of poverty.

and believed the leaders that they would see the new system.that is to say all worldly governments would be.

destoryed and God's government would rule the world.These faithful people spent most of their lives working

hard to refurbished many properties in New York bethel HQ.They also help build a new modern up to date printery

in Wallkill,New York,U.S.A.See July 1,2009 watchtower(more on this wt later).These people are elderly with no

income and have no 401,thanks to the WBTS.Most of them were told to put in extra hours in field service,however

they are still expected to donate(buy) the watchtower and awake and ask the public for donations.I will admit

the few hundred that were re-asigned will receive a very small allowance.As I mentioned about the July1,2009

Magazine.In the magazine they say "many readers cannot travel to visit the printery,so they arrange a tour by

means of words and pictures may be the next-best things."What a joke, three pages in total to describe a printery.

Who would want to visit it by their description.They did mention unsalaried volunteers ages from19 to 92.However,

when you look at the pictures all are young.You do not see any grey head old people.Besides they kicked them

out of HQ.Now that those properties are empty they are on the selling block of which some had been sold for

millions of dollars.Remember I said this is a chartiable organization.

summer only to find all Saturday tours are off.So what happened,the GB writes a letter and in two weeks

bethel tours are off even for those who already made arrangements.Do you not find that odd,that they

would shut things down in two weeks?They surely knew of these up coming tours.My guess is they

got caught with with their pants down breaking employment regulations.Working unsalaried people

45 hours a week.You can not tell me that they had to make this change in two weeks.Look they knew

a year in advance when they went to one watchtower and one awake.This is all about money.Reminds

me of the quick change they made in the donation arragement.Just wondering if this applies only to the USA.

My experience at the District Convention today - Appreciate your comments

i know i am the one to constantly harp on this board how the organization has lost its "swagger" and the baptism and attendance is going down, and people are waking up.. not so fast.. the audience cried, i mean a lot of people cried when they played some of the songs from the new songbook.

some had bethel singers who sounded pretty good singing them.

so many after the program were saying how touched they were.. then the new release of the book showing how the book of acts prefigures the organization today.

Oh,how brain-washed J.W.are.They can't wait for a new release.So what, they don't read them anyways.

Look at the last few WT study articles and how they placed the GB next if not above God.The R&F believed

every word.They worship these satanic creatures and you don"t have a snowball chance in hell of changing

their minds.Their world is limited by the garbage that the GB feed's them are they are very happy with that.

If you feed pig's slop they will be very happy and will not go anywhere else as long as they get their slop.

Talk about creature worship.And why do we see two of MEN wearing jewelery,not sure of the others because you

can't see their hands.Talk about the showing of one's riches.Why do these men need RINGS on their right hands.

As a christan volunteer (who will work without compensation) will never ask,suggest or take a donation

even if it was volunteered.However,the greedy WBTS will make it known over a loudspeaker several times.

(They do that at DC) If I help out someone because I do so voluntaryly I would never suggest let alone

take any compensation even if was offered.That is what the WBTS SHOULD of done ie Katrina rebldg.

But were other people down there helping.You see that is the way the GB of the WBTS does things.

They want the HEADLINES and the public to believe that they are chariable.You do not see them

feeding the homeless,orphans,widows because it does not get the same attention.Reminds me of

Luke 18:11-14.Yes Billy "That is the organization I supported" However as the GB would say the

light gets brighter and brighter.For you the day is well along.
