  Do You Understand How Elders Think?

  some here have been treated terribly by elders while in the organization.

  some were treated kindly.. why do you think some elders are task masters while others are milder?.

  do you think they're all the same no matter how they come across to the "flock"?.

  created his son 1st,instead of wife/mother for adam/eve.antitypical father produced a/e than took off to galaxy eso513-13 and left the kids to fend for themselves.no guidance and unattended.if they had a mother..she would of provided care,protection,love,understanding watch over them,wisdom,insight.mother is full of forgiveness.his son was to baby sit,but could not be seen.. today when to have a mother and a father you can raise a child on the straight and narrow.even with satan and all of his demons.drugs,porn,immortality,money etc.yet a/e were in a perfect setting but no mother for guidance kids fell be the wayside.. b.

  i was browsing through the december 2010 awake, and noticed an article on the earthquake that happened in haiti earlier this year.

  it didn't take long for the article to disturb me.

  the third paragraph initiated the sanctimonious tone that is present througout the article.

  This Week's # 2

  i've been noticing for a while now how the watchtower sometimes seems to change the meanings of words in the english language in order to not label jw's as anything that has anything to do with the rest of the world.. for example, this week's number 2 part in the theocratic ministry school dealt with: are jehovah's witnesses a sect?.

  when i look to dictionaries for the definition of this word they all have similar meanings, albeit with different wording.

  a group of people forming a distinct unit within a larger group by virtue of certain refinements or distinctions of belief or practice.

  The hate being called what they are a cult.They try to say the 1st witnesses was Abel down to J.C. but they can't account any witness from J.C. to 1874.At least the R.C. can say the 1st pope was peter and they have a line of popes from the 1st christian church do the present pope.

  just to be clear and not get in trouble by "someone" on this board, some of what i want to say in this post is adapted from a sermon from dallas willard.

  it's in my own words, but i don't want anyone telling me to beg god for forgiveness for "stealing" someone elses work by posting it on a forum.

  basically there are 2 ways of viewing the issue of salvation.

  Some Confusion - What is this site in regards to JW?

  i seem to have a bit of confusion concerning the purpose of this website and the people in it.

  perhaps i am not computer savvy and do not understand some of the expressions used.

  I believe you still want to belong to the J.W. family but you have a feeling that they gave you the boot.

  You still believe all you were taught,living forever in paradise but fine it hard to reconcile because you have an unbelieving mate and are afraid of losing him. You came here for some answers and rehab.You want to belong and loved by J.W. but are fining it hard because you see the hypocraisy and they are not what the say they are.I believe many come here because the WBTS is/are two-faced.They fine it therapeutic.

  from all the "annual general meeting" notes floating around, one quotation stands out in particular:.

  many older ones already are telling the younger ones how they regretted not getting an education, pursuing a lucrative career, saving up money or not having a retirement plan.

  the sad truth is that such ones are like the murmurers of israel when coming out of egypt.. what does this remark tell us?.

  The R&F will eat all the GB/FS tells them.They the GB/FS set the example they said "look at us we simplified" you do the same less secular work more field service work and Jehovah will provide.However the R&F just don't get it when GB simplify, it means kicking out old time bethlites,selling their high priced real estates,moving printing facilities to countries where they can get away with labour laws such as Canada,closing Mexico,etc,etc.Oh yeah their are countries where they are growing(3rd world).
