as most of you know i live in a forest,in the mountains..at night there is very little light pollution... so the sky is one big theatre screen... i see shooting stars,northern lights,satellites,planes on a destination..it`s all very beautiful... tonight was different... .
tonight there was something in the sky that defied anything i`ve ever seen... it had multiple aircraft lights but not like regular airplane lights..it wasn`t a helicopter... it could go straight up or down... move in one direction then head in another..it could do all kinds of weird stuff... sometimes it just hovered..then start doing all these weird maneuvers... regular aircraft is going somewhere,it`s headed in a direction..not this thing... i watched a regular airplane pass it... .

If still "in", how do you feel when praying in front of a group despite being in doubt of your beliefs?
by Crisis of Conscience init happened to me this weekend.
i'm curently "active" and had some long time friends from a different congregation over for dinner.. we went through the formality of praying before the meal.
normally or rather lately i've been passing it off to someone else.

by cyberjesus inwhen i was a jw i always hide my jw status to people of the world because i was taught that we were hated by satan and his world.
and indeed in school i experienced being ostracized by my religious beliefs and everytime i had to take a stand not saluting the flag i was the object of ridicule.. then when i left the jw now i am shunned by my family by taking a firm posture on my beliefs or disbeliefs.
now i am ostracized by my own jw family because i dont go along their set of doctrines.. now that i have abandoned any religious belief altogether feel how most people who dont believe in a god are ostracized from the majority of the populations.

I wouldn't worry about it....unless you are being a pest with your belief....are you? Nothing like a pest who wants to prove what they believe and to shove it down your throat. Atheist can be pest also.

there is a sudden announcement that the un has banned all religion.

What if, we as individuals just worship God and his Son Jesus Christ, and not with a church of any sort? Keeping our belief private. How will the UN know we are Christians?

I undestand your feelings ....the Watchtower had me so brainwashed that I was afraid to do a search on the GB for fear lighting would hit and crash the computer. I got over it when I realized they are nothing special....and I broke free from the WTS hold on me.
