  Christmas Card exchange?

  has someone started a christmas card exchange list yet for this year?

  we did this in the past and it was such fun to get all the great cards.. .

  Question on fading

  my wife and i have been staying away from meetings for almost a year now and i was wondering what everyone thinks about taking the next step, which would be going to another kh out of the circuit the cong we went to is in and having the publisher cards sent there and then going for two or three times to the new cong and then just stop.

  we are thinking that will give the elders an out because they can get rid of our inactive cards and the next cong won't know us that well so won't really care.. as a former elder and po, we are well known in the area we live so many in the area are wondering what's going on with us and if we go to another cong.

  that might make them feel more settled.

  so, hello folks.

  i have wanted to start this thread for sometime because i was curious if it has happened to any of you often.

  in the last 10 years or so it seemed that deer were attracted to my trucks like magnets .

  PS - I did hit a bird once, didn't tell hubby cause I was embarrassed. How the hell do you hit a bird

  Don't feel embarrassed ... it CAN happen! I've personally witnessed it. The tragic incident reinforced why when someone calls you a "bird brain" it isn't a compliment.

  Looks as if she got her hubby on the bounce, she settled for a mindless drone and gave us einstein (in comparison that is). Now she regrets it she is just trying to make you feel bad about not being invited to her wedding (big deal), or maybe she wishes it was you had married. Hence, she didn't want you there because she knew she was making a mistake

  Actually Buffalosfree, we were both single at the time of this conversation. She had no hubby, or wedding. She is still single today.

  at one time during the 1990's there were 3 partakers of the emblems in one cong.

  all 3 were females, i have nothing against women mind you.

  2 of them were in their 40's the other a teenager.

  it's very hard for me to type these words - just as it was when i first knew i didn't believe in the wts and jehovah anymore.

  i have a huge ball in the throat, my stomach refuses to settle down, i feel like vomitting, crying, wretching, heaving.

  when i first left the truth my self-esteem plummeted.

  The fact is even if you had been a strong witness and right there with her she could still feel drawn to this brother. The question is does he feel that way?

  I agree with Jgnat. Let her pursue this other brother whom she views as the panacea for all her problems. Sometimes we humans don't miss what we have until it's gone. The grass is always greener on the other side ... until you get there.

  Don't beat yourself up too much over the whole thing.

  Let me get this straight . This religiously cult controlled woman says, " Honestly, I still have love for him, but I don't want him. " Sounds like she's really in tune with her feelings LOL!

  Mr. Flipper, at that point in the conversation I was like Was she listening to herself? What rule exists that says a person who doesn't "love Jehovah" isn't capable of loving another human being? Some of the most hateful and selfish persons are those who "love Jehovah"!
