after 2 months of old age and illness, 2 cancelled vet appts, hoping he would get better, tears, frustration, watching him not eat, throwing up, becoming skin and bones, justifying keeping him, i stuck to this morning's appointment.. he was with me for the last 12 years of my life and his life has been entwined in so many of the memories i have.. to tell you about him, would be an essay.
i just want everyone to know that he was so close to me.
in the end, i kissed him on his head, said, "good boy, you're a good boy" and he laid his head on my hands and went to sleep.. i love you and will miss your crazy dog ways.
(((Jez and Family))) I'm so sorry.

Happy Birthday Lola!
Happy Birthday Lola!
i got a phone call from a person that i gave my phone # to.
and this person said that gays are not welcome here and this is not what this board was really about.
i told them that this is only one part of the crap that the wts did to people and that we are people too.
((Hambeak))
I'm sorry this happened to you today. You don't deserve that type of treatment especially after you reached out to help this person. I'm happy you are here.
Take care,

building a business.
had a webguy.
webguy got "lost" somewhere in the usc campus.
I found a great ecommerce website that I'm gonna use for my business. Try www.volusion.com The backend is all set-up and it is quite robust. I checked out several companies that do the same thing, but this one was by far the best. They have a free trial period.

i hope you all had a great thanksgiving..... my husband was so inspired he went up to the attic and dragged down our tree the same day (the 23)... i have been decorating for 2 days serenaded by vince geraldi's charlie brown christmas music.
for some reason it feels extra special this year.
perhaps because after waffling for years with the witnesses i was finally able to let go this summer after finding this site.. so when are you putting up your christmas tree?.
I'm so happy to read everyone's story and how much fun you are having! I've been celebrating xmas for many years, but I add to my collection every year. I usually start decorating right after the Thanksgiving dinner dishes are cleaned up. But, ate too much this year and couldn't move 'til today so my decorations will go up tomorrow. Yippie!

do you ever look at other people and think "blimey, they are doing well ... new house ... new car ... why am i not getting ahead like that?".
you will probably find out that the car is hp or bought with a re-mortgage of a re-mortgage which is interest only.
no money is going to pay off capital and they don't have any savings and are not making any provision for their pension (other than imagining that the house they are *not* paying off will somehow suffice).
Thanks for posting this.
One very important thing I do is not nickle and dime my money away everyday...no buying something for the sake of making a purchase. Any raises I get go straight to the ol' 401K...pay off credit card every month...no impulse buying. Then, I get to take great trips every year with all the saved money. A book I really enjoyed on the subject is Start Late, Finish Rich by David Bach. It is an easy read for those just starting out, has great reminders and is written for people at all income levels. Also, hiring a CFP who doesn't sell products has been very helpful with my longterm goals. It's so much more enjoyable to pay cash for something without having to figure out how to pay the credit card later.
One website I use all the time is www.bankrate.com it has great financial calculators and other basic financial information.
