  I understand what you mean Jeffro, but rhyming has different levels. Man and Fan are perfect rhymes as they have the same vowel and the same consonant(s). Weaker rhymes are where just the final consonant(s) or the final vowel rhymes. I do that when I'm more interested in what I want to say then finding a perfect rhyme.

  Thanks cbb and luvbug.

  I enjoyed your poem too jethro. That is how I wrote A LOT of my early work. I would have a tune running around in my head and I couldn't concentrate until I wrote it down. Here are a couple of my earlier ones that talk about that:

  Purpose
  
  The time it took to write this line,
  I could have cooked a meal to dine.
  But here I sit with pen in hand,
  Trying to impress the man.
  
  For this is what we writers do;
  We live for words and not for food.
  For food just gives us sustenance;
  Words can give us eminence. Writing Poems
  
  These words I see inside my head,
  And by them I am surely lead.
  The truth is that I have no clue,
  Just why I choose the words I do.
  
  I feel the rhythm in my heart,
  And that is where my rhyming starts.
  And so a pen and pad I find,
  To scribe the words inside my mind.
  
  But though I see the words you read,
  It doesn’t come so easily.
  For even though my lines all rhyme,
  To write each one takes lots of time.
  
  I weigh each line, each word I choose,
  So that the tempo I don’t lose.
  And in the end I have some thing,
  That makes the paper seem to sing. Insomnia
  
  I have the sickness it is true,
  The one all of us writers do.
  It causes us to lose much sleep,
  As words and rhymes we ponder deep. Although my eyes I want to close,
  And let the stress of today go,
  Before too long I start to rise,
  To look for words without my eyes. For it is with my heart I see,
  The words I find in front of me.
  No matter what method I try,
  I can not make the words subside. And so I find before too long,
  My night of sleep has simply gone.

  Job 26:7

  many people use job 26:7 to show how the bible teaches that the world is a sphere and hangs in empty space.

  in reality the bible teaches that the world is flat, circular and supported by pillars (most bible scholars agree with this).

  in job 38:6 jehovah corrects job and says.

  The word "circle" in the bible in that particular scripture does not mean like a ball ....but rather like a plate, flat but circular. You'd think some of the 'scholars' within the Watchtower organisation would know that.

  All I Know Is Blame

  Looking for anything,
  Finding something worse.
  Giving over every time -
  Stuck in a bible verse.

  Calling for Socorro,
  To god I raise my voice.
  My pleas have gone unanswered.
  That too is a choice.

  My years spent with the bible,
  I wish I could reclaim
  All those moments wasted;
  For all I know is blame.

  Transgender - A Case of Tested Friendship

  friendship comes in all stages, shapes, and sizes, from the very close, as brothers, built over a lifetime, to the budding kind that has only a few months or a year or two.

  i have been friends with sam (fictious name) for about seven years.

  we are not real close friends, but have a good quality relationship that is mostly confined to the office.. recently, sam told me that he had an issue with a female agent who tried to get him fired.

  When I was young, a jw, and knew it all, I would have thought that Sam/Sara was disgusting. Now that I'm older, not a jw, and DON'T know it all, I wish your friend the best. Life is hard enough without me shoving my narrow-minded belief system on anyone else. As long as I don't know what they go through, I sure have no right to judge.

  i want to thank everyone here for all the help and kind words offered to me as i adjust to having worth.

  i guess i have a long way to go and i guess i'm going to have to go and see a counselor like someone else suggested.. no matter how hard i work or what i accomplish, i still feel so ugly and i'm still afraid of the stupidest things.

  i don't know if my fears are on par with paranoia, but they are definitely distracting and i need to get some outside assistance.. the good news is that around here, with people who've gone through the same, i feel better.

  I stopped off for a mocha before the party. You can never have too much caffeine right?

  We have all been where you are at. For me, I do still get there. Like, why on earth would someone like me, and want to be my friend?? Most of the time, I don't even like me.

  Why would anyone like you? Because you care. It shows in every post you leave...

  Now, get to the party. DON'T MAKE ME COME UP THERE AND well, you know!!

  Oh, so if I don't go, you're gonna come up here? Hmmm, I guess I'll stay home then....

  How Jw's will begin to 'accept' blood doctrinally.

  once upon a time, blood in any form was rejected by jw's.

  then, over time, they morphed the policies to allow some 'fractions' or blood.

  this allowed witnesses to get immunizations, treatments for hemophilia, etc.. in the past few years now, the policy is allowing greater 'definition' of 'fractions' - to the point where even bovine rbc's, altered to be called a 'fraction' now, due to processing the hemoglobin from the cells, for use.
