Satans tools, Satans fools.
by Weeping inthere is a satanic game being played now on the internet called, "world of warcraft".
it is a role playing game (dungeons and dragons on steroids!).
it is so captivating and bewitching that children and teenagers are getting hooked.

Satan told me that 2 Z's is enough. You have to really work hard to get your third Z in hell.

promoting Satanism to the young
by Weeping inone of the top songs of the 70's was "hotel california" by the eagles.
most people have no idea the song refers to the church of satan, which happens to be located in a converted hotel on california street.
on the inside of the album cover, looking down on the festivities, is anton lavey, the founder of the church of satan and author of the satanic bible!

I am semi retired, but at least I am not semi retarded.
I only wrote that because I want to help this thread reach 9 pages at the expense of very serious posts, like Blondies WT Comments.
Of course, there is one new policy I am enacting on JWN. For every stupid, runaway thread started by trolls, it gets my ATJ stamp of disapproval.

How long will I be an exJW vs a fomer JW?
by AllTimeJeff indrew sagan in a recent post (he recently graduated college) said this, something that i agree with and frankly, think about often.
to those of you who feel that you need to "help others" in the watchtower i give you this word of caution.
be careful, because that may simply be an excuse you are using to remain stuck in the past.

So y'all are saying that just because I come here doesn't mean that I am living in the past? ;)
The big difference is, I can do occasional JW subjects, but what matters to me more then just debating belief systems or JW dogma (which can be debated to an exhausting point of tedium) is moving on. If someone moves on, to me, thats a victory, Christian or not, Republican or Democrat. Or a Farkelite.
The thread Lady Lee started was good for me. I like to socialize a bit. And yeah, I am almost at a point where I can completely leave most anything associated with my old JW past.
What I didn't anticipate when I was in my "posting prime" was how repetitve the subjects can get. That's one thing. Another thing is, it does remind me of my past when I post here. That sometimes doesn't help me personally.
Or maybe it does and I just don't know it yet.
Well, one things for sure, it is an organic process.

Hey Outlaw, great picture of being screwed. LOL!
Would you please get Don Cherry to shut the hell up about Sidney Crosby? Wait, he is doing that on his own. (this only came to mind because Hockey Night in Canada was sponsered by Molson, and you know, I like Molson)

Here again, I will use similar words to get across my point.
An ex is always a negative in my view.
A former is a little less negative, it to simply implies where you were.
I have two ex's in my life. Neither ended well.
Former, even if its a variation on the same theme, seems more positive to me.
Plus, I like word play. :)

Drew Sagan in a recent post (he recently graduated college) said this, something that I agree with and frankly, think about often
To those of you who feel that you need to "help others" in the Watchtower I give you this word of caution. Be careful, because that may simply be an excuse you are using to remain stuck in the past. That's how it was for me. I was stuck, and because I was stuck, I made the ex-jw stuff everything. It defined me. It was a life changing experience that "everybody needs to know."
That really resonates with me today. Of course, with my mom's recent passing, and her last bit of advice to me ("Be happy") it gives me pause to evaluate. Which is never a bad thing to do.
You might think that a former Gilead grad and missionary, a former elder, would have a ton to say. But as I look at what I have written here, I think that I have said it all.
After over 3 years, I am no longer in the know. I am not current. (not surprising, since JW's change everything about every 3 years anyway) I have written about all I care about.
I do feel a sense of responsibility toward those that leave, a little. And I wonder just how much my words will continue to help?
Because in the end, when one leaves, or one is thinking of leaving JW's, it is something that they must do of their own accord. No amount of screaming, reasoning, or anything will cause a person to do what they aren't ready to do.
One of my favorite recent threads on here is Lady Lee's thread on the 4 stages of JWN. The last stage are for those that have moved on for the most part but come on here for social reasons, more or less.
After a while, talk about JW's is so repetitive that in the end, you have to move on to other topics. If you are still angry, that will come through.
My point is, (with great thanks to Drew Sagan) when do we move on. Are we (am I) stuck in the past?
