Each jw mtg my husb has to attend is a burden for me cuz he always says I start an argument. I know its the demand that the wts has on its followers that they cant seem to deal with. He'll ask me a question and I will give him my undoctrinated answer and he goes off, then announces I'm starting an argument b4 he leaves for a mtg. I told him dont talk to me abt religion anymore and dont ever mention false religion to me unless you are willing to examine yours. I dont want to comlpletely shut his being able to talk if he feels the need, howeve I'm tired of him crucifying ev'1 outside the org.

I'm weeping as I read all the
holidayChristmas Trees going up for I use to decorate til my hisband came home ( jw study ), now I set out my Beautiful Nativity Scene on the coffee table and placed wrapped gifts around it. Hopefully next year .ENJOY EVERYONE...MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!Evette

Suicide is a VERY bad thing.....
by lonelysheep inthat is the conclusion i've come to.
up until then, and because of my own depressed feelings, i have felt differently.
this changed for me last night, though.

I'm sorry this happened and the devestation is brings to children they feel the parent didnt love them enuff to live and the guilt we feel bcuz we werent there, cuz we could have stopped it. 30 years ago my bset friend tried committing suicide christmas day...I went to her house that morn she was laying in her moms bed, she told me she had just taken all these pills to die and not to tell....I said ok, but I hv to go home right quick...I cldnt get to her mom ( who btw didnt like me cuz I was corrupting her dtr ) fast enuff and told her she had to rush her to the hospital....We were teens and it was all over her bf and a leathe jacket she didnt get him as promised for christmas...we joke abt it now...but every year abt christmas I pray for her and this demon called suicide...so I encourage you to pray for her daughter andif possible to keep in touch with her so she can share some of her moms memories with you....deepest sympathy...evette

talked to my parents last nite...
by zanex inin the vain hope that maybe...just maybe things would be better...or at least somewhat improved...i was wrong.
i was told about the al gore dvd that talks about how bad the world is and when i tried to say i didnt want to think about how bad the world is and rather think of ways to improve it they showed me a book about "how to deal with emotions" or something like that...i kind of tuned out right about then.
i talked about my job and my dad said, "see!

If you listen to hispanic siblings spk to 1 another its always "my mom" or "my dad", always my,my,my, I do the exact same thing with my sisters and brothers and there are 7 of us...and yes parents sometimesdont know how to express themselves especially to their children...I never heard my mom tall me I was a good girl til I asked her to buy me a car 46yrs later...actually I needed her credit. however it doesnt take away the need to hear it expressed to us...and I too felt I needed to hear it ...It wasnt until on her death bed that I truly realized that her loved was expressed thru her giving of herself. you see she had 7 children by the time she was 25 y.o and she worked hard for her children, we never went without. She purchased a 4 bdrm house in Watts, Calif...We never knew we were poor or that we lived in the ghetto., because we always had...and the best of everything!!!!!!!!! So just look for the kind words that are expressed ...and I dont know the story either, but you hang in there and I definitely will be praying for you...hope all is well with yr sis.

take a moment to think about how we as a society treat one another.
for example, when you call in with a problem on something and treat the person who answers the phone like they are the one who caused the problem, made the decision who lead to your hassle and treat them with all the anger you have built up.

I love customer service for that has as been my posistion in all my working years. I started working at an answering service in Beverly Hills for the Entertainment ( all entities ), the so called Elite Doctors, Big name Attorneys, Very Famous Celebreties Office and residentials, and the people of everyday lide who could afford the service. Now you answer and can hv up to 20 lines at a time, aft years of this I went to the telephone co, directory asst...now thats a piece of cake; folks calling in not knowing the business name of the company they are looking for, depends on what corner they are standing on cuz some hv said its right down the street I can see the bldg on 7th & main but I cant see the name ...go figure..Sir/maam I need the name of the busines...now I'm in for an argument....bottom-line Do unto others as you wld have them do unto you!!!

I just need to say anything
by spiceant inlast thursday i left a mail at the mailbox of the co of the cong i atleast untill now still attend.
the mail concerned the child abuse issue, quoted the nytimes article alleging 24k recorded abusers, child abuse policy & some other things child abuse things that elude my mind.
today at the weekly watchtower brainwashing.
