Hangover cure

i was talking to a guy last week, and he suggested taking two advil and drinking a glass of milk as soon as you wake up.
somebody else i talked to suggested drinking ginger ale.

Everybody has their own cure for a hangover. I was talking to a guy last week, and he suggested taking two Advil and drinking a glass of milk as soon as you wake up. Somebody else I talked to suggested drinking ginger ale. Another person said that drinking a Bloody Mary will help. Once while doing a job shadow at a hospital, a Doctor listed several vitamins and minerals taken together to produce a cure. I drink as much water as possible and hope for the best, I figure I knew what I was getting myself into when I started drinking, I can suffer for it now.
Ok, now I want to know, what do you use, and how well does it work.

Religion or Family???

For any normal, sane person this one would be easy... family of course. But for those who have been brain washed into believing that the dubs have the only true religion, they can't make that choice. They will almost always choose the religion over thier family. They can't be reasoned with, and you can't change thier minds, it is just that way. They will throw a whole bunch of scriptual mumbo-jumbo at you in a sorry attempt to explain their position, and will try to make you feel like you are the one who is wrong. It's kinda sad really.

Last month, a survey was conducted by the U.N. Worldwide.
The only question asked was:
"Would you please give your honest opinion about solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world?"
The survey was a HUGE failure.
In Africa they did not know what "food" meant.
In Western Europe they did not know what "shortage" meant.
In China they did not know what "opinion" meant.
In the Middle East they did not know what "solution" meant.
In South America they did not know what "please" meant.
In Asia they did not know what "honest" meant.
And in the USA they did not know what "the rest of the world" meant.

of course i immediatly filed them in the trash can, but seeing them there has raised quite a concern for me.. you see the problem is that i work at a correctional facility, and all entrances are completely secured.
that means that one of the officers left the magazines one the table, and the bad part is that it appears as if someone had been reading one of them.

Now I don't know if someone stopped at the lobby and gave them to the receptionist, and she was kind enough to drop them off, or if somebody brought them in from home, but they were there. Everybody I talked to didn't know anything about them.
I just hope that everyone that I work with is smart enough to realize that the dubs are full of crap, and to stay away like they have the plague. You would think that after hearing all the pleasant thinks that I have said about them that they wouldn't want anything to do with the dubs. By the way, can dubs be corrections officers? I think I remember something about them not being able to be police officers because they weren't allowed to carry weapons, but does this also apply to corrections?
Anyway, I'll keep y'all posted if I find out anything more.

I don't want to sound like I am in support of the borg, but I believe that you have taken this quote out of context.
While the scripture does say "do not go from house to house", I believe that is reffering to an employee/employer relationship. If you were working for a person in one house, you would stay there with them, eating what they provide, until the work is completed. Once that is accomplished then you could move to another place. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm quite sure that this is what it is talking about.

Stinky, are you crazy? Those frikken things piss me off more than anything else I know of!
I usually listen to something hard when I'm in a good mood... Metallica usually works. For a bad mood I will listen to some country... maybe some Kenny Chesney or something along those lines.
