LOL Romans 14 is one of the least quoted chapters in Watchtower literature....it's too devestating to their "organization" complex.

JW's are the biggest hypocrites ever!!!
by lovelylil inso this is the deal.
i am completely fumming mad over this.
you all know how the jdubs do not associate with worldly people and are always saying that the "worldly" people will be destroyed and only jw's are worthy to live.

Jehovah's Witnesses are confused children trapped in adult bodies.

How would you respond to the elders?
by jgnat inid like to help metaspy and others out on helping them overcome the manipulative language of the society.
when it happens, we have no time to come back with a snappy answer.
but maybe we can help in the future how the manipulative language is wrong, and how to clear the destructive fog (fear obligation guilt) in our heads.. do you think my retorts would help?

This is all assuming that active Witnesses know how to process logic. Unfortunately, they don't.
On the phone with my dad the other night he said, "I'm ready to discuss all of it and get it all out in the open." About 5 minutes later he said, "Well I haven't looked into any of this enough to refute what you're saying over the phone."
Sometimes I wish I could just give my parents a little shake and say, "Hello?! Are you in there?!" -

Calling all GB biographers....
by besty inhow many of the current gb have been or are currently married?
how many of the gb have had children?
<not in the alleged teddy j sense> .

I've kept a pretty close watch on the history of the organization, and I'm pretty sure that Albert Schroeder has been the only one to have children. Pretty much all of them were married with the exception of Fred Franz.

Went to the grocery store and...
by Cindi_67 ini went to the grocery store on sunday and there was a lady in front of us paying for her purchase.
i believe she was a witness because the clerk asked if she had a good thanksgiving and she said " oh, i don't celebrate thanksgiving, but had a nice day off.
i just needed to tell somebody..

By saying "I don't celebrate Thanksgiving", she was making a stand for the truth! LOL

Consider this in relation to the child molestation issue...
by deaconbluez inone of the big faults that is credited to the watchtower is that if a person comes forward and says that they were molested, the elders require an eyewitness to the event.
obviously molesters don't do it where they can be seen, so the victim doesn't get justice.. .
but if the elders took action immediately on anyone accused of molestation, then false accusations with no evidence to support them could be made, forcing innocent people to be disciplined for something they didn't do.. your thoughts?.

"Where's your jacket brother"
by jambon1 ini remember an elder walking in the hall and it was the 1st thing he said to me as he saw me dealing with the sound dept.
"where is your jacket"!!!!
nice greeting!!

As a Witness, I was glad to finally find the scripture that backs up the jacket issue, as well as the "white-only dress shirt" mandate for public talks. The scripture: Hezekiah 9:9.
