Yes, there are difficult things in life. Such is.
Yet, we must rejoice that another generation comes forth. We also rejoice that they will have opportunity of freedom of mind and heart and that we have a big part in opening that up for them. We have experienced mind control, but we go forth with every effort to expose it and ensure at least those in our family tree are free to grow without unnecessary 'shackles.'

Anyone here going? They've closed their Branch, but does this create a distracting "hoop-la?"
They are boasting "largest ever," but their own records show JWs decreasing in New Zealand. How many will be foreign delegates?
2012 Report showed, 13,742 Av. Pubs. - a decrease from 2011.
Seems to be a methodology of the WTS to close a Branch and have a big "hoopla" international convention to distract, and boast of the big time blessing from Jehovah,,even though facts prove otherwise.
Makes me wonder where the next internationals will be,,and how it relates to possible closing of Branches in other countries?

Quentin (from JW-net) is dying
by Terry inquentin robburts has been on jw-net off and on for over 6 years and he is one of my oldest and most loyal friends.. his wife called me awhile ago and gave me the news.. quentin was rushed to the hospital's emergency room with acute renal failure and congestive heart failure.. .
this does not surprise me for the following reason.
his pain doctor put him on oxycontin last thursday.

Glad to hear Quentin is doing okay, still watchful but at least promising. Many best wishes to him and his smart wife that could see early on that the WTS did not have anything to offer her.
Some of us are at the "youth of old age." Bad health and tough circumstances can go into quick bends. I have found with heartbreak, that some didn't get through such a tough circumstance, so all such things sure bring up cautious alarms in me also.
I, along with a few others and you on this site, finally are able at least to be on a "first name" basis. I hope in time so many others will have the open freedom, moving on, and fearless also.

by unstopableravens inthe annual meeting was oct 6 2012 its jan 2013, the "new light" came out publicly on nov 7?
i think how in the world can three months go by and still not everyone knows about this?
when is it going to come out in magizine form?

Probably most don't care. They are so simplistic in their knowledge: 1. God's name Jehovah (therefore, this makes them feel they are now of the smartest people on earth) 2. New World is coming "soon" (this interprets to them that that could be today or someday soon, or after they die - which they don't really want to consider as possible). 3. The Watchtower is "the truth" no matter what,,even if wrong they will wait on Jehovah/GB to correct it - eventually.
