Both U.S. and WW showed 'increase' in Memorial attendance from 2010 to 2011. Both showed decrease from 2011 to 2012. Little decreases or increases don't necessarily indicate much in itself. Generally, we will have to watch over more years, like maybe 5 yrs. at least. But hearing reports like noted above is an interesting observance.

interesting,,for 'U.S.' last year (2012) there was 2.4% less than the previous year (2011). If there is that decrease again for this year, there would have to be aprx. 4 or 5 less per avg. congregation attending. Could happen again at that rate shown by your friend's cong.

Even if the WTS' goal to extend this issue, even having to pay additonal interest (1.6M, appx?), gives them more time to collect plenty more money (or hide the money) and at least holds back for awhile a tsunami of additional pedophile lawsuits (who are waiting to see the result of this case). then.

so do I understand, that the 'brief' was not so brief but 'volumes' were sent by the WTS? Now the judge or a group of judges have to read all this and they have to decide 'if' in fact some court error happened in the hearing? Then, what options could the appellate judge group order?

i am stunned by candace's huge court victory.
it is overdue.
i have been reading comments on jvn, huffington, san jose mercury, nbc, and other sources.
I hope for the full success of Ms Conti case. Though, it would probably take many more such cases to effect the WTS. It took many cases for the Catholic Church to come to terms of this kind of prob. Even yet, the Catholic Church prospers and grows..
i was shopping with nugget in sainsburys and i saw them in the bread aisle.
a couple in their late 70's / early 80's who really i do have an affection for.
he was an ms when i left, not sure if he still is, and she was just a very genuine person with decades of "faithful service" to the cult.. when i was a newly appointed elder, their grand-daughter had accused her step-father of sexual abuse, he was eventually df'd but has since my leaving been reinstated.
It is so sad how many are stuck in the WTS created 'limbo.' - the 'no where else to go' syndrome.
seriously?...how sillier can these people get...i have completely faded and stopped going for 6 months now...they never ever called me to say hi while i was there or when i recently stopped going.... then now all of a sudden the memorial is here and they want to call me?
how about trying to get their attendance up or fill in some numbers.... i can only lmao at this cult...satan has these jw's by the neck.... so sad....
Last year the U.S. had a -2.4% (decrease) for the Memorial. They don't want a decrease again.
