JW Divorce Rate
by sandy inanybody know what the jw divorce rate is these days?.
how many dub couples do you know that got divorced?.
.
-
Gayle
At least half of those who grow up in it, get married (most young), assumed and expected unrealistically, eventually divorced. Of course, due to additional expectations and disappointments, most leave the organization altogether then too.

Welcome Joe. There is no specific one way to leave JWs. Choose it 'your' way. There are phases for most, depending each person. Take it slow and you will figure it out. It can be bitter=sweet, but sweeter and sweeter as times goes. Often, when we go through our 're-evaluation,' we realize there were many things that we questioned along the way, but could only push it back. Eventually, it all comes back for another review and the stack is notably immense. That stack can no longer be stuffed away.
So many best wishes to you!

Just a few questions please? I have been out before there was a 'Special Assembly Day.' Are these at the Kingdom Hall or at Assembly Halls or somewhere else? These now are to attend just once a year, right? So, are there ever baptisms at these?
Then, are Circuit Assemblies just once a year now or twice a year (as back when I was in.) And, the "Zone" meeting, how often is that now? Does that meeting depend on being in a certain country or is that 'now' done in every country. I hadn't heard of 'zone' meetings in U.S. before a couple years ago.
paladin, thank you for comments. I hope you will share any notes from the "Zone" after meeting tomorrow, please?

Thx, Barbara.
Yet, the WT Service Report claim over 162,000 and increasing. When, people in a country, any country, are disgruntled or even bitter about their government, they, unfortunately, will sometimes be drawn to the WT/JW promise/message that God will change things "soon." Sad.

Will be interesting if Nescio gets in trouble and WTS makes him close it.
