Yearbook is late this year
by factfinder inusually i recieve an advanced yb but have not this year.
i also notice they have not posted it yet on jw.org.. i wonder if this is due to problems at the printery at wallkill or they decided to produce the yb later from now on?.
or perhaps they decided not to publish it any more.. anyone have any info on this?.

if we don't all unite, we may win a few battles but Watchtower will win the WAR.
by excaliber into thank you for taking the time to read this, because i feel that it is extremely important.
over the years we have been waring against the watchtower, and our battle field has been the internet.and we have been very successful in establishing discussion forums and online resorces exposing false teachings and we have used youtube to further shed light on the watchtower, we have even written books to this end.. .
yes we have attacked watchtower at its weakest point, the internet and we have been able to do this as small groups and even individualy.

maybe it's like a cold war,,like for U.S.S.R. there was Radio Free Europe,,now we have Internet, hopefully the Information Age is utilized,, to help ones to understand why JWs doesn't truly help people, just uses people. If people are informed and learn, get educated they will take the info and grow and become 'independent' and less likely just 'follow' unquestionably ever again.
If ones can grow at their pace, they will be less likely to be overwhelmed and resort back to an old comfort zone. 'Slowly' seems to work best. We don't want families and marriages destroyed. There are many sites,,some more pro-active,,some where ones can just come and talk it out,,or listen/read as others jspeak with their experiences. Support groups succeed as one talk through their experience and listen to others with similar experiences.

I find I am Shunning my family !
by Phizzy inalthough i really hate the wt/jw shunning policy, which especially huts those who have been df'd, i find i am in a kind of way doing it to my jw family.. i do not include them in anything i do, in my own family gatherings, and i cannot be arsed to inform them of things going on in my family, or to even go and see them, unless really necessary.. this all adds up to a kind of "reverse shunning", and i do feel a twinge of guilt about it, but it is simply how things have become.. do you, fellow faders, find a similar thing happening ?.

I think there's a difference if one decides 'personally' to not see a certain individual or individuals for personal reasons. But, when a group or organization imposes that on individuals with threat, then there's a problem.
There are times in life we meet an individual, that we realize they are short of character conducive for you, in positive influence or your inner peace.

Chaserious,,so does that mean 'anyone' can just submit a letter like that to the Court? I would expect that the judge(s) are just busy reading the Court records that everything in the Civil Court was done according to 'legal procedure/law.'
Seems strange that the "docket" or Appeals Court would submit and record an 'opinion' letter at this point?

wow, I wonder what percentage of elders, that know TTATT? 10%? What percentage are in the doubting stage? Another 10%?
A couple years ago, there was a thread that there were 88,000 elders in U.S. That was about average of 7 elders per congregation. So could there be an average of 1 elder per congregation, not believing or doubting??

Found another JWN-like forum in my language!
by ohnightdivine injust a few minutes ago i found out another ex-jw/jw forum online in my native language.. i am soooo happy because i thought there was very little hope of ttatt reaching these people.
as you can see, very few speak english fluently in my country.. but, yay!
the forum is so alive and up-to-date, just like jwn, and i even saw copies of the menlo park congregation docs.. there is still hope after all.. i'd be glad to see even just one member of my congregation wake up to ttatt..

That's wonderful!! Hope this can develop in many more languages.
