  anyone in the usa following this morning's shooting "on-air" live tv will know what i'm talking about.

  bryce williams (not real name, but on-air name) shot and killed 2 people on live television this morning in roanoke, va. he was wearing a go-pro camera, and uploaded his first-person video onto his social media accounts.

  i've seen his twitter feed (before it was taken down), and not very far down he mentions being raised a jw.

  So the shooter was raised a JW,,but not one when grown?, inactive? Dfd? But still saying "Jehovah" directed him in all this?

  What Qualifications does Geoffrey Jackson have as a Translator of the Bible ? In any Capacity ?

  geoffrey jackson left school at the age of 15 and began pioneering , he never attended a university ,never studied ancient greek ,hebrew or aramaic at any recognized teaching academy , he has no certificates or credentials / qualifications from any place of learning that is approved by a competent body of religious instruction .. and by his own words at the australian royal commission , under oath he stated that was his primary role as a translator of scripture into other languages .. a 15 year old drop out from school in australia is the chief/ prime translator of the bible for jehovah`s witnesses world wide in their many languages that they preach in .. it would be very interesting to see his report cards for those few years he did attend school .. is it just me , or does anybody else see that his qualifications don`t come up to scratch to be a translator of the old testament or the new testament scriptures , and be taken seriously as a translator of either , into any language.. if i am wrong anywhere in this post feel free to correct me .. smiddy.

  Reminds me, like Fred Franz, always coming across as an authority of Greek and Hebrew. But under oath in court, could not read or translate. They are such ignorant boasters.

  These Regional Conventions reporting quite low numbers, averaging approx. .5% of attendance.

  Also, what percent at Regionals are attenders among the 'Average Publishers?' What percentage of others are there, among the interested, the inactives, the disfellowshipped?.

  Are these 'low' baptism numbers getting any comments or observations?

  2015 Regional Convention (Cleveland, Ohio) - No accounts report read? No video about abuse?

  i went to the convention this past weekend in cleveland with my wife and son.

  most of the session was the status quo, but here are some of observations that i believe are worth noting: .

  1. i did not see a lot of jw.org advertisements and the website was not mentioned a whole lot during the session.

  i just went to a convention in mazatlan, mexico.. i had wanted to do this for a very long time, it left me shaken a bit (because i had a confrontation of sorts with one jw who recognized me), but i got some stats that give some insight into the borg.

  it really is crumbling, even in the places where they have arguably had the best, wildest success in the world: mexico.. just so you can see how much they have success in mexico compared to the us or anywhere else:.

  top three countries in 2014 were:.

  2014 Yearbook for Mexico, shows 27,701 baptized for their 12,833 congregations (2.15 persons each for the year). If each congregation has 1 person baptized at the Regional Convention and at their two Special Day (Circuit) Assemblies an average of 1.15 more total; not that impressive. 63 Avg. pubs. per cong.

  Disfellowshipped people are quickly reinstated / Japan

  i hear a number of disfellowshiped are quickly reinstated in acertain circuit in japan.one disfellowshipped person who are obviously in worldly.

  clothings, attended a meeting.whole congregation thought that person was not yet sincerely repented,but, announcement was made that the person was reinstated.branch office and circuit overseers are eager to bringdisfellowshiped back to the organization.local elders are not very pleased about it..

  maybe Japan more desperate,,decreasing for years,, desperately need ministerial servants, elders, etc.

  Of course, if "worldly clothings" - & tight pants, then he's still going to be in trouble.

  i know from my own informal, non-scientific survey that most jws do not watch jw.tv.
