by JWchange ini dont know if you are aware but i was informed recently that jw governing body member tony pants morris was in a safari park in africa.
he stumbled across a skinny hungry looking lioness with cubs nearby.
not seeing a way to escape, he got on his knees and started praying, pleading for help.

vent: Got into it this morning with my wife agian. younger son wants to go to a B-day, i said he could...she turned cult.
by goingthruthemotions inyep, he told her that he wants to go a friends b-day...keep in mind it's not until december.
well anyway i told her i didn't mind if he did and i would take him.
yep, enter cult mode.....i hate this freaking cult.

fortunately, your son has you. You have a window open for him, to get an open mind and heart. Hopefully, somehow you can present to your son simply that it is just his mom's religion but that you don't feel that way. Hopefully, you can present to him the alternative. But, hopefully, you can teach him respect for his mom also. It's a tight-rope walk, but it is possible.

me and my new girlfriend

now i am not i do see certain things in there studie that is true in my opinion but ive never really been a religion type of person.
i think i want to marry her but i am not a jehovas witness and am not looking to be anytime at all she says that is ok and we can still get married but i dont know how its possible or where we would even do it please i need advice

this issue contains the study articles for february 29 to april 3, 2016.. what about the number of those partaking at the memorial?12, 13. why should we not worry about the number of those who eat the bread and drink the wine at the memorial?12 in recent years, we have seen an increase in the number of those partaking at the memorial of christs death.
that trend contrasts with the decrease in the number of partakers that we saw for many decades.

It's like '75, the GB did all the hype, but put blame on rank & file getting excited (or more questioning), when all failed.
Now, the GB do all the hype of publishing the number of partakers of the 'most important' occasion among JWs and when the r&f get excited, then the GB drop the bowling ball of blame about r & f getting into it or, more, having questions to possibly understand this convoluted doctrine.

So why does the organization even publish the number of partakers each year then? The organization in doing so, and is the one that makes it a big deal.
The GB are the ones insisting on 'unquestioning obedience.' Of course, they expect the same out of so-called other 'anointed.' If one 'anointed' demands unquestioning obedience of another 'anointed,' it just doesn't make sense. The whole things is senseless and insane!
Maybe they will stop printing the partaker number this year?!

I left 30 yrs ago,,never missed it for a second,,had 5 children then,,they are all free of it, grown, graduated college (so grateful I left the weirdness),,have good jobs and I have 8 happy grandchildren.

First thoughts on "new" meeting...
by konceptual99 inhad a quick look at the workbook and flicked through the sample meeting video.. the increased use of video shows the trend for more centralised dissemination of "best practice" .
sure there isn't really a "school" any more and the format is a bit different but i think those that called it as the same old crap just in new package got it pretty much right.
