Well, I listened,,glad still for the exposure. In that time frame I guess not much could be accomplished. I think the Host just kind of rushed Ms. Wood. Basically the Host was firm about religion rights no matter what almost. Evidently, in Washington, 14 yr olds have legal rights on their mental care rights, what parent (when divorced or whatever), they are willing to live with. Daniel's parents gave up their rights as parents 4 yrs ago. So the guardian there have their rights, including what religion for such children. Poor Daniel, never got people in his life very trustworthy. JWs will think in their minds they 'won,' although they sicken most people who have some knowledge of them. I only hope that the young JW people there have some second thoughts.

I think xJWs feel much more sadness over this boy than JWs. JWs go into deeper unreality mode, that 'soon' the boy will be resurrected to earth, they don't face the reality.

You did so good with bringing out the facts, you weren't emotional sounding!! I think because of your comments, the Host brought it up again of the standing of one who would ever take a blood transfusion with the last caller (JW) about the DF issue & then the JW went on to talk about the taking of the blood being of Satan issue,,then the Talk Host had to end the program because of time, but he responded to the caller like he got the message but the intonation was kind somewhat like the Host had just about enough of the JW beliefs at that point.

and i would like to talk to the judge to find out how much he knows about the subject of the jehovah's witnesses blood god.

This poor boy had to go from the frying pan into the fire. His parents previously weren't there for him. Then I am sure the JWs 'love-bombed' him at 10 yrs old, creating a facade of family. He desparately wanted to be loved, believe & trust his aunt and her religion. I was like him at 14 yrs old,,would have made the same decision. Fortunately, I got to grow up and re-study & re-evaluate all the WTS teachings and am now 61 yr. and a proud grandmother.

I am sickened and shutter about this poor boy. I assume there was some behavioral disfunction of the parents that the JW aunt had guardianship of the boy. Apparently, the boy was 'love bombed' by JWs at some point & thus gave his total heart and trust to the JWdom. I suppose it would become a dilemma for the medical team to force several blood transfusions in a patient that would fight it, requiring strapping down, etc. and then the emotional state of a young person during all that time believing he was being 'poisoned' on top of the struggle dealing with cancer. This insidious doctrine of the WTS does make it a very dangerous religion and it makes me sick how the government, judges, officials, and so many others accept, even respect it.

He speaks as a full authority of WTS.. He never was committed 100%, never baptized,,never a full reality,,having some good times at Duncan Donuts with JWs,,leaving young and never taking on the JW life to a fullness, not ever under the 'intolerance' of the disfellowshipping control of the WTS,, doesn't make one an authority,,he is very two-faced.
