I know most Africans would not have computers, perhaps in South Africa there would be more, but I hope to those who do have computers can get the facts out about JWs more quickly. With the reality of most of their lives, the JW world has nothing substantial to offer them, only damage. The Watchtower Society is only interested in what it can take and get from the people so will not prove to be truly helpful, loving, nor supportive for their needs.

Interesting,,where was the article? Would like to read it. It seems maybe Japan is ahead that way but as more and more countries, like Europe, having lesser children, having one or short of two children per average,, then these populations will show higher and higher percentage the older and elderly. With the tipping of such scales, it leaves the younger with more and more responsibility of the physical, emotional and financial caring of their parents, grandparents and others.

Could it come out in the custody court, that Kathryn will not accept blood transfusions for these kids if ever needed? How would a judge rule to that? The aunt Rebbie would not accept either.

I enjoyed the program. Roberto got the "shaft" (Bethel term also - many there came clearly aware of it - someone with power toward victim,,harsh, unfair),,Ray Franz was treated that way,,as well as many others with previous WT experience,,many that dare to question,,challenge wrongness in the organization. Roberto is clearly strong, intelligent, calls it as it is type of guy..awesome,,The Watchtower 'victims' are only getting stronger and stronger, not going to take it any more kind of people,,not leaving quietly as JWs would wish. The Watchtower intimidiation is not working as well over previous members.
Barbara Anderson too,,wow,,her trip to Europe contributing to "cult awareness" movement there, clarifying not against religion overall but the damage cults do,,about JWs was priceless,,she sure is not silent, quite motivating to enourage ones to expose the Watchtower at every possibility.
I suspect that Rick's "conference call" program could go weekly soon, as now the program lasts a bit long,,but that is due to the interest.

Does my friend need help leaving JW?
by marysue123 ini am not sure if i should be writing this but i'll give it a try because i could use some advice from people who know better this religion.. about 6-7 years ago, when i was in highschool, a new classmate arrived and she was jehovah's witness.
untill that time i had very few knowledge about these people.
she was a kind girl but she wouldn't hang out with us a lot.

Maybe she contacted you because she longs for what could have been and she probably deep down is unhappy with her JW life, but because of the mind-control she would deny her unhappiness. It is a prominent thing and many take anti-depressants to stuff their true person deep down. Her religion controls her to not have any non-JW friends. I hope she contacts you again, she probably wants to but she is fearful.
