  reports have been heard that brother price has been getting his 10 hours of field circus in for awhile, allowing him to get the privilege to carry the mics at the kingdumb hall.

  the 1st time he was handed the microphone (with the stick attached (we all know what ones i am talking about)) he started thrusting it in a very innapropiate way (pornia).

  this caused the elders to end the meeting right there and form a judicial hearing.

  i hate turning in time, even though it's phantom.

  do you think they phase this out soon???

  especially now that they spend so much time doctoring up the stats to make them look good.. anybody out there with some inside info?.

  I felt 'special' when I was a pioneer back in late '60s, but when I had only 2 Bible studies (was suppose to have 7 back then) to report when I went to where the 'need was greater', they held a 'committee meeting' for me, to 'encourage' (?) me. I realized that kind of 'special' (?) wasn't going to work for me.

  so i assume the back of the territory card was not marked that apostates live at this address.do they still do that?

  anyway the first thing i asked her was if she had a back issue of the july 09 awake.

  she looked through her bag said she didn't but could get me a copy and bring it back to me.

  both robert lifton and steve hassan list the use of 'loaded language' as a key element of cults.

  every cult has terminologies that are unique to itself, and often the intent is to polarize the membership into a black and white language style.

  the cliches of cultish groups tend to stop thought, or restrict into a a single accepted viewpoint.. this is almost never recognized by the members while they are trapped inside - but is clearly evident the effects this had upon us once we exit the religion.

  Wow,, I enjoyed your information so much,,we were so weighed down with so much judgementalism down to every detail, controlled and "packaged" by single words or simple phrases.

  It is so freeing to be rid of the Watchtower judgmentalism and control.

  I agree with you..even people who may be selling or getting donations for something, don't dress up like suit & tie, at the doors,anymore,,only JWs and Mormons,,at least around here.

  Clearly,,Ray Franz was not pointing to himself, not starting a 'new' religion,,only pointing people to God & Jesus,,clearly disagreeing that people (or organization) set themselves up as the 'way' or 'channel' for others salvation, etc.
