I hate turning in time, even though it's phantom. Do you think they phase this out soon??? Especially now that they spend so much time doctoring up the stats to make them look good.
Anybody out there with some inside info?

I have no new info, but I'll tell you what I don't like about turning it in. I hate how they require such detail in the study reports. They even want to know what time of day and what setting and where you study with the person. Wasn't John the Baptist given only how many new ones came in? I mean, what's with the 3rd degree?
White Dove. That's no longer current. No study reports any more.
The organization is not going to change the requirement that you turn in your time anytime soon. JWs and counting time go together like catholics and the rosary or like Adventists and the Sabbath. I can't see them ever not being required to count time each month.
bummer....I was hopeful that was one of the major changes that are speculated about every now and then.
ok......stop turning it in even if you go out in the ministry....i did i told my BS conductor that i felt it was too invasive of my privacy, and it made me feel uncomfortable....and that i was told it was actually used as a way to judge us reg. pubs... he said that was not true.... i asked if it was true whether or not many priviledges or appoinments were made based on what is on that slip of paper, and not what was in ones heart or what actual abilities a pub has he said it was all part of Gods Theocratic arrangement i asked if Theocratic and Theocracy meant "rule by god".....and he said yes so then i told him if we find gods rules in the bible, then i would turn in my time if i can find the rule in it and would do some research on it and try to find it there........oompa he looked frustrated......
Oompa, I never thought of it that way.. I bet you threw a wrench in his gears..
I don't see the WTS ending the turning in of time. After all it makes the pioneers and those exerting themselves in the field ministry feel good about themselves at the end of the month. And it serves to remind others that they need to do more.
Oompa, you're such a trouble-maker! You should know better than to try using logic on these people.
