  what do you think they would find?

  even with assurance that all data collected would not be traceable to the individual many would still not have the courage to answer any nagging doubts?

  as corporation ceos they have to know what the morale of their employees really is, if they don't they are driving this corporation blindly.

  The GB don't care about how anyone at Bethel is thinking about any of it. Any can leave Bethel, they don't consider any there to be indispensible.

  If any are depressed, they (GB) don't care. At the most they have a psychiatrist to identify any possible suicide there, because suicide is just bad publicity for them. Headquarters sends any away if depression seems too apparant.

  They don't fear for their control because of their arrogance.

  at a convention recently, i met with don wallace, a former co and do.

  he told me he came off the road 6 years ago and is living in scottsboro al.

  him and his wife are in their late 70's.

  how can one emphatically "preach" the end is 'so imminent, preach all to pioneer and 'eke' by, etc., not to worry about 'storing' up in this world or system, and then they personally (quietly/secretly) having a plan B all along, and end up being able to pay for a house in cash - "just in case." ??? good for him.

  Well, no leaders (COs, DOs etc) ever expressed "just in case" verbally along the way. And then they tell the kids don't get a college education!

  What do we call a person who preaches one way and does another!

  former unbaptized publisher, here.. i'm new to the forums and have hesitated for months to join this forum.

  i was raised in a jw family, and was never baptized, because one of my parents didn't think i should be baptized early.. my mother became inactive, but i eventually went back for social contact, eventually starting a study.

  i raised a few questions, only to find that the conductor would get irritated and defensive when my questions would get deeper into the topic.

  Lucky for you, your father didn't give in to joining the org. too. Seems when one parent is out, it leaves a door or window open for many of the children to think themselves out also.

  Very sad. The WTS doesn't help people at all, just makes people feel worse. We feel heavy in heart for their plight because we know the negativity and how incompassionate the leadership are as the heart of the leadership is short-circuited. Many are crying but they don't know how to sort it, as the WTS has taken too much away from them.

  So Splane mentions 141,931 peak pubs. for the "British field." Since this was a "Zone" visit, does that include Ireland now? and what other countries or islands would be in this "British field?"

  2012 Service Report shows for Peak Pubs. Britain (135,654) and Ireland (6,085). Thus, combined total is 141,739 peak pubs. for those '2' countries.

  I know these "Zone" stats get skewed, as numbers put countries and islands 'combined' for these reports. But their tallys for their individual countries are separate on the Annual Service Report.

  Also, Splane is really pouring it on for the poor JWs kids. The WTS is getting desperate for them. The WTS uses a story of someone, some Bethelite, leaving Bethel, doing better than a college grad, to set up a very rare hapstance to unlikely; or some little 12 yr old that brought teachers and fellow students into the "truth". Ugh. What pressure the org puts on these poor kids!

  That's so true, it is so 'contradictory' in undergoing these actually unnecessary things when they boast about the end so "soon" and then they are suppose to have 'perfect' bodies. And then, they fight against blood transfusions for themselves when they need it.

  suffolk police say the couple found dead in their nansemond river drive home wednesday were victims of a murder-suicide.. they have been identified as lucy celenia perry, 67, and her husband dennis joseph perry, 64.. autopsies showed dennis perry shot his wife before turning the gun on himself, city spokeswoman diana klink said in a press release.

  The exJWs are very proactive in Denmark and Norway. Such laws are more advanced in these countries than in U.S.
