I hope all the ex-JW Internet sites 'altogether,' including this one (JWN), 'combined' are creating a 'punch in the stomach' to the GB. Former JWs, whether they use their personal name or alias, can speak out finally.

if so what is it about their articles there that are opening jw eyes to an awakened state where so many others have tried and failed to awaken jws?.
what do you foresee could hapen as a result of pressure from anointedjw.org and their articles on the gb's attitude and their reactions?.

Kate,,whose your favorite comedians? Years ago, when I had a 'down' time, I found a series of oldies of "I love Lucy." I always loved her humorous shows. Find some funny movies,,ones that can make you laugh out loud. Humor is great medicine. Also,, when we are stressed, we forget to breath deeply. Force,, gasped that oxygen in you; for body & brain.

Going Back for the Right Reasons

initially, it was during a deep search into the history of jehovah's witnesses, and yes, "apostate" sites.
i was born into the organization in 1989. my father was always more inclined to the organization than my mother, and soon after she was df'ed.

I am so glad you have unconditional love from your mom, who never became a JW. I am so glad your dad is going against 'counsel'/actually against Jehovah's organization. Certainly, he is keeping that a 'secret' in the cong. Have you not been hearing at meetings, from the WT mag., assembly talks with outline from the GB that JWs are not to be talking to any family members DF'd? Won't you just 'cringe' with those talks in the future?
How will you stomach it when you see a mom crying deeply, just hearing her child is DF'd, that now must 'shun' her child? How will you lovingly comfort her? knowing your dad did not shun you. Aren't you aware of the hundreds & thousands of former JWs DF'd now crying, depressed? or do you have some way of dismissing that reality?
8 men in New York will not dictate oh, yes they will. They have been sneaky on you for you to be so naive.
I do hope the best for you to be a loving husband, and in the future, a father with your children, having unconditional love for them also and promising you would never ever 'shun' them, under any circumstances.

The guy is plain tired and overwhelmed. Only behind the guise of quitting a job 'for Jah,' can he get praise. The organization is only a burden to him. He and his wife will only find hardship this way. The children are adorable. Sure, they were excited about their trip & getting their Bible; however they had as much or more elation as getting their 'goldfish' that day.
The GB cannot even begin to understand the needs of family life. They are clueless. With a family like this they see only potential 10 yr olds getting baptized & to get control over and use.
I feel sorry for them.

The medical specialist told me something alarming today. Pretty bummed.
by Julia Orwell inso i've been going to doctors for years with chronic fatigue, a condition i managed ok but which took a drastic nose dive in late 2011 to 2012 to the point where i could barely function.
work was part of the problem, so at the end of that year i left that stressful environment.
but in the meantime, for the last few years i've been going to doctors, specialists, psychiatrists and psychologists and undergoing every sort of blood test you can imagine and seeing all sorts of medical people.

Physical ailments, and emotional stresses affect us all. It's just being a JW makes it all worse. "Waiting" our whole life is exhausting and sickening.

However so empty this was!! Of all things in life! Such drudgery!
He prayed for the brothers and sisters in the Phillipines (not the others), and for Mark Sanderson who is there to bring comfort to them. When they announced recently, that the Phillipines, don't need water, food, etc. Empty, empty, empty.
Being late for meetings,, would this be a 'top' issue of Jesus?,, or for anyone that is genuinely trying to help people. (Sounds like being late too many times might call for a JC meeting some day.)
And, comforting anyone who has lost a loved one, well, most people do that,,they just don't throw out the quick fix "soon" card like JWs. Many JWs or ex-JWs have learned, "soon" could actually mean decades later or the rest of their life.
