Of course, the WT makes no acknowledgement, for ones now old and those that followed the WT admonition to not have children now, and were encouraged to wait till the soon to be 'new world.' Or, the ones that went to Bethel, missionary work etc. and were demoted with no retirement programs achieved. Their articles only criticized any old ones that are now discouraged and very disappointed. There must be a lot of 'bitter' aging ones there.
Well, too late for them to recover such sacrifice. But, I hope the younger batch see this issue and give them second thoughts about what they should reconsider. There must be an under-the-current message, though not directly spoken, yelling out to the younger ones, "Run, young ones, Run."
Hopefully, this causes more to develop a "Plan B." Their younger ones must start considering 'long-term' and hopefully the very young ones start considering college, getting decent homes, or other real life investments as they work, and also to find personal joy and happiness along the way. Don't just wait it out as dead GB, old now GBs, their aging parents, dead grandparents did.
