  for those old enough to remember, the last days of soviet rule in eastern europe were astonishing.

  you had this unchanging entity that controlled all aspects of people lives for decades.

  then came the unraveling.

  Effect on youths of Bethel and construction cuts

  i know quite a few youths (late teens to early twenties) who have the goal of full time service, as bethelites or international construction, so they're doing the required slog of pioneering in order to achieve this goal.

  this is a goal which has been excitedly set out for them the last few years or so at assemblies etc.

  now they see the cuts, surely they are going to be discouraged and disillusioned.

  Better for a lying bubble burst when you are young! Hopefully with these JW parents that they can get second thoughts for their youth and direct their youth into reality of schooling and more education.

  well when they first started the warwitch project, only the cream of the crop were allowed to go.

  they read a letter this week in my area, inviting all brothers in good standing, to go to a special meeting for anyone with building experience.

  they must be desperate, to allow the low life plain everyday sheeple's to volunteer!.

  Isn't it law now-a-days that properties have to pre-checked or examined for this before sale?

  Also, why is the WT rushing in on this to move in, only to have to tear apart, possible evacuate in process thru all this. If they believe it's contaminated, who would want to move in themselves and get others possibly contaminated?

  last year saw the elimination of the district overseer...and circuit overseers now must retire at 70. how long until the circuit overseer is no more?

  of course, the role might still exist, they would simply not get paid.

  they would have to care for their own expenses.

  Good idea!! A "composite" Circuit Overseer Body! Like the Governing Body, a "composite." Seven would be plenty for a local Circuit Overseer Body, more if they need "helpers."

  It used to be an average of 20 congregations per circuit. That's about 5,770 Circuit Overseers worldwide possibly now . Would save the circuits a lot of money maybe? Maybe not, these would soon be getting "green handshakes" too.

  News from Argentina....letters from bethel to bethelites ; Get out with happiness!

  bethelites news news betheliteson friday 50 brothers and sisters at bethel bethelites argentina, took their last breakfast together before heading out to their congregations.the bethel own patterson, new york, an undetermined number of bethelites that they were notified had a week to leave bethel and become regulate pioneers in their congregations.a couple of brothers they sold us everything told they had to go to work where there was more need.

  a couple of months left to work on construction projects of kingdom halls in needy countries ago.

  they have been told it is over.that's how fast things are changing toward the end.we are on the verge of incredible things, so any change is not surprising.is our lord faithful and discreet slave receiving instructions regarding the next future?

  thx wifi,,, I enjoy your updates! The one picture indicates a lot of happiness!! Back in the 70's, Bethelites were held captive to their 4-year vow to Bethel. Most would have been happy to leave sooner., .

  on the Highlights of info of publisher increases on the islands,,, just wondering, did a lot of publishers from the mainland move to those islands in June and for their summer vacation. Just thinking how the WT 'double posts' their pubs. In fact, now I wonder maybe that's what they do for all pubs. stats elsewhere. They move from one congregation to another but get double counted in their 'peak' count.

  Seems if Brazilian JWs see the buildings and very pleasant apartments being done shown in the pictures of the Warwick Branch that they will feel short-ended when not even KHs are allowed to be built in Brazil in near future. How will any/to most feel an inkling to donate to the worldwide headquarters when they have been informed that no building of any sort will be elsewhere.

  Foreign countries have been burned enough from foreign businesses or religions that have taken advantage of them.

  the chelmsford project in the uk has already come to a halt and every one has been sent home.

  the bethel family in london is to be cut by several hundred.

  my impression is that most ambitious youngster in the org dream of being involved with the building program.
