Outcome - Banned in Russia - Final

i just watched the live feed from the russian court room and followed the updates on the russian exjw forum.. just waiting for confirmation from other sources...but, it looks like the final (and expected) result is:.

banned.

which means that the wts property in russia now belongs to the russian state..

So, . . . now what?, for Russia and JWs? Are there any pro-active ex-JWs in Russia? What could they possibly do now with the ban? Will they be able to reach any JWs (or inquiring ones) via the internet (using YouTube there)? Of course, JWs (leaving or inactive) will fear being even caught by Russian government on any topics even by a pro-active ex-JW?

Would Russia try to 'de-program' any imprisoned JWs with ex-JW sites, YouTubes, books written by ex-jws. Is 'jwfacts.com' in Russian?

I expect the JW 'caves', 'basements', will only become deeper now. But some will leave JWs for a variety of reasons now.

So, the WT will be able to decide in the near future what Kingdom Halls to sell. If congregations can't contribute enough to the (questionable) 'new' halls and/or assembly halls, sell, sell, sell.

what would the postage be for 48 million letters (8 M JWs x 6= 48M) to Russia? Wouldn't WT headquarters rather have that money. From U.S. to Russia shows $1.20 a letter..

Stands to reason that the NWT will be banned too. So, the WT would use the government acceptable Bible for 'public' use.

I knew one who had become a judge even. (Her professions included being a legal secretary, missionary, journalist, attorney, judge, children's advocate, office manager and even a Candidate for Congress! -)

Amazing girl - I knew her at Bethel long ago.

I remember writing letters to Malawi in mid-60s. We could count the time. So awful reading later how the WT was very misleading to the JWs there and their heartless control of trusting JWs there.

I feel sorry for most of the JWs in Russia at this time. I wish the Russian government could make JWs go to a class about 'JW facts' for a day or two (kind of like driving class provision when someone brakes a driving law, instead of paying a huge fine). The class could go over all the WT lies and an assortment of choice youtube videos.

before i came my sister informed me that i would see witnesses at the airports and outside all of the train stations.

keeping in touch on facebook she asked me how many witnesses i had seen on my travels.

2 sisters called today

ive lived here 7 months now--and today was the 4th time some dubs have called--while i was at home.. they were probably about 60-70.. after i let one do her simple leaflet presentation--i told them i used to be a jw--but left over 40 years ago.

and that i held the watchtower responsible for the break up of my family: and discussed shunning.. but the main thing i wanted to discuss--was the sale of their kingdom hall.

they confirmed a sale was going through.

Maybe they will 'subconsciously' not able to give as many of their dimes to org. since they know the selling of the KH will be quite alot and enough for org??
