  Apostates do you still read Watchtower literature? And if so Why do you?

  i was just wondering how many ex-jws still read wt literature and if so why.

  i have noticed alot of posters here know what the lastest wt or awake magazines are talking about and i was just wondering why do you bother to read that stuff since you left the wt?

  The first time i came out was when the Proclaimers book came out and after that refused to read any of their shite, but curiosity overcame me and I wanted to read the odd W//T study article, and about 3/4 times I have contacted the Branch Office for a local dub to post a W/T through my letterbox this request was never met, for obvious reasons, but now i just read the snippets of new Jw stuff here, I would not read anything now from the WTS if you paid me

  microphone duty

  ok, for those of us non-, and never before-jw's, will someone please explain what the big deal is about having responsibility for microphones is all about?

  we do use microphones in our church, but ....i mean whoever is in charge of any technology that day sets up microphones.

  it could be anyone in the church, male or female, young or old, the pastor, the janitor.

  yeah I was on roving mic duty as well , and yes you think it is a way to climb the wts ladder , and later on I became assistant platform which even held more prestige, also it helps the boring meetings go faster as well

  Knorr Was He Married? Any Info?

  i was under the impression that he was married to a fairly attractive woman who was his younger by about 20+ years.

  i heard this from an ex-bethelite.

  just wondered if it was true?

  Seems strange she waited less then 2 years after the death of her husband the President of the WTS Nathan "Homo" Knorr no less , to marry a handsome fireman! but I heard she was a babe in her earlier years

  i have been wondering and trying to find some information into whether the wtbs has ever played the race game.

  when i see pictures of the society of old, all i see is white people.

  i don't see any blacks, asians, hispanic, or mixed (black and white or whatever) couples.

  it was on a similar thread a couple of months ago about a Dub who went to China and walked about with a tract hanging out of his pocket , but no Chinese dubs would contact him until he departed on his home bound flight, when in the terminal a Chinese dub contacts him and tells him not to look around and many bros have been following him all the while he was in china but could not talk to him cause it is too dangerous and told him to look at the perimeter fence where a handful of dubs were waving at him! Another load of J/W b/s!
