  well of course we all have tea on the lawn every afternoon with cucumber sandwiches with the crusts cut off, we all know the Royal family personally, all the shops still close half day on Wednesday,it still gets very foggy hear and we all talk either in public information style British accents a la ( Mr Chumley-Warner) or salt of the earth British spiv east end (you want some whelks guvnor!)and of course our terrible teeth because of the fact we all smoke Capstan full strength ciggies,,,

  My Bethel Experience Part 6

  i 'm sorry all of this is not in order.............i'm writing as all this comes back to me.. my first room assignment was room 33 in the 129 building....it was and old building, built around the turn of the century,...the society owned it but it had worldly people in to.......i'm not sure why but maybe there was a law that provented them from being kicked out or something.

  it was a 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment (about 1000 sq.

  ft.) there were 7 of us in there, all new boys ( less then one year there).

  is it just me or are dubs becoming so much part of the world?, in the very minimal contact i have had with any jw, especially 1 year watching the young sisters approaching a d/c they seem so materialistic, they all seem to have p/c's mobile phones, latest cars, etc etc, talk about being gods people, it could not be further from the truth,

  Every year at the final day of the summer convention at the close many of the young dubs head about a 10 minute walk to a nice pub on the river thames one year they drank it dry! How Theocratic!
