So Cal - DoYouListen to Tom Lykus?
by fedorE inwhen i lived in windsor, ont i used to get 97.1 fm talk...which had the tom lykus show....topless/flash fridays when ladies would flash other drivers....anyhow he loved to debate on christian topics....once though he reduced a poor lady in a bad relationship to tears by ranting bout her 'pathetic disaster of a marriage'......another time he went on about how women having babies was no more a miracle of life than taking a dump, both biological functions that happen millions of times all the time ...... and expunged on that for a loooong time.
well i for one miss that kind of radio when im in my car not listening to tunes..theres nothing like that in ontairo....even if i dont agree with all he says...

He used to come on at night about 8-9 years ago down here in Dixie, but his show was taken off the air and another conservative was put on, can't remember for sure but think it was Michael Reagan. As a conservative myself, believe it or not I actually liked listening to the guy--he was entertaining--I guess kinda like alot of liberals that I know like listening to Limbaugh. Air America should have put him in their lineup and then maybe they would not have gone belly up.

Why did those 'paid off' by the WTS sign a deal to remain silent?
by jambon1 inknowing that this silencing of victims is one of the wts's main weapons of defence, why did the victims agree to remain silent?
is this not selling your soul to the wts?

If I had to guess, they only signed saying that they would keep the amount of the settlement confidential. This is common and is supposed to protect the defendant from copycat lawsuits.

Pet Semetary was one of the scariest movies that I ever saw. It was one of his few novels that were made into a very successful movie, in my opinion.

We are we almost all black now? Especially CO's.
by coaster infor the past couple of years at my district conventions, i have been unable to actually listen to most of it, so my mind is in many places.
one such place was to count people in several of the other sections as to blacks and whites.
section 132..42 white and 137 black, section 133..36 white and 144 black, and so on.

Here in the Deep South, we've had many, many black co's in recent years. the growth in the ranks around here has primarily and overwhelmingly been from the minorities, both hispanic and black, and it appears to me that this is the society trying to send travelling men out that the r/f can 'better relate to'.

I hate Walmart!
by Elsewhere ini rarely ever set foot in the place and will go out of my way to avoid shopping there.
tonight i made the mistake of giving walmart the benefit of the doubt and walked in the door.. they didn't have the main item i was looking for, but they did have one other small item.
i headed to the front to check out only to find they had only a few check-outs open and all of the lines were far too long.

I love walmart. They help lower income folks by providing a means for working stiffs like myself to purchase goods and services at a low, affordable price. Thanks to them, I am able to stretch my dollars farther every month.

You can bitch and gripe all day long about walmart, but they are the monster they are because of us--the consumer, and our demand for cheap goods and services. They have merely responded to that demand and filled a need, specifically those of lower income workers, the very people that the Left in this country profess that walmart is hurting. Actually, the truth is just the opposite. Thanks to walmart, working stiffs like myself can stretch our dollars further and buy items at an affordable price. For instance, just the other day I went and bought some grocery items. I payed less than twenty five dollars. A week earlier, I bought the SAME items at a local chain competitor(that's unionized) and payed over FORTY five dollars!
I love walmart and will continue to spend my money there, even though it may not be the politically correct thing to do these days.
