  What do you think is behind the watchtower change in 2008 ?

  i think it's an atempt to catch faders or atleast make active dubs feel special.

  it also could be a cost cutting measure to though.

  getting rid of the km's and even up awakes and watchtowers would save some trees.

  It is abvious that there is a serious cashflow problem. Bethel lsyoffs, paper books, awake coming out once a month. Furthermore witnesses are told not to pursue any money making career. Most dont have much money to begin with and with gas prices and everything going up they cannot donate any money. No one asks for donations at the door, and few donate when getting literature. So the corporation has to trim the fat. Were seeing the last 20 years of this religion

  Did You Do Business With JWs Thinking They Would Obviously Be More Honest?

  i know many people did business with me because i was an elder and had to be honest.

  i never cheated anybody anyway because it's simply not right but i know a lot of witnesses that were "screwed" by other witnesses......what about you??

  I own my own business and refuse to employ or do any business with JW's. Dont want to fire a brother on Friday, and work with him in service on saturday.

  anyone else out there land on a psych ward after being df'd???

  its a long story that starts with panic attacks going door to door and ended with a 2 month vacation in the cornwall on.

  psych floor for two months.

  i was stalked by the elders for 3 years after i stopped going to meetings.

  its almost a year since my dfing and im still not back to normal...i had a breakdown at my jc meeting. Im hoping getting back will make me better. Not sure if the religion caused it or we living in sin caused it.

  well im not a young kid...i live on my own.. would like to keep details simple.just in case...thats the other thing..the paranoia of being a witness. i feel like a character in the good shepard. what a mindf@#*.

  Thanks so much,

  As for my family they are cool. Mom said she could not talk to me or even give me a hug. That lasted about two weeks. When she realized I wasnt boo hooing about her decision she came around. Dad is cool. And my sister still lets me see my nephews. But i believe this is because i am going to meetings and trying to come back. If i totally said i was never going back,,,might be different story

  also, im just having doubts...i mean i can agree with the lifestyle except for the whole no beard thing...i guess im just confused. ive been spoonfed this all my life. dont even know how to not think like a jw
