  I normally watch "Grey's Anatomy." Glad I didn't. I think I would have been too emotionally vulnerable to sit through it last night.

  ok, i've heard it all: sincerity, honesty, security, money, love, romance, flowers, poems, promises, and more.

  but, in my arguably limited experience, i've been shot down while doing all of these (at differnt times obviously).

  so, what do women really want?

  Women are often willing to go out on dates and have men spend money on them, even though they know that a man doesn't have a snowballs chance in you know where in getting to first base with them. Men are willing to go out on dates and spend money on attractive women trying to get to first base, knowing that the woman has a snowballs chance in ####, in getting her shopping list filled.

  Moshe---------- Wow. That's a really bleak look at the dating dance. [I refuse to say 'game,' because I don't like playing those]. To set the record straight, not all women allow that kind of lead-on. I'm one who doesn't.

  I learned early on, post-divorce that there are plenty of men out there who will put forth that effort/ financial investment into a hopeful prospect, even when the woman is straight forward about there being no prospects (still hoping that something down the line will change). I have more compassion than that, than to allow a man to give and give into a situation that I know to be a black hole (reaching no point of capitulation on my part).

  As for the men misrepresenting themselves...yeah...experienced that one, too. Broke my heart. Let him go. I need a man with integrity, not someone who fakes it.

  Time grows shorter not Longer, what are some things that you miss?

  name some things that you miss from when you were younger, lets take a walk down a different path, called memory lane!!!!!.

  it ought to be interesting reading everyones posts and see the age difference and what comes from different parts of the world and usa.. i miss--a time when the world wasn't as dangerous.

  i miss--a time of innocense.. i miss--a time when kids could be kid.

  how many of you can identify with the little devil that lurks inside of you.

  i have one and sometimes it makes me want to behave in such a naughty way and i get a bit.........erm mischevious to say the least.

  please help how do i get rid of this little demon or is he here for life....

  i 've heard snippets of this absurd urban myth about jay leno asking j denver to leave his show because he hated jw's.

  but why on earth on a prime time slot would j leno start asking j denver about jw's?
