  Compression Disc Fractures?

  my husband was hurt saturday while sledding.

  he suffered 2 compression disc fractures.

  has anyone here ever experience this?

  What's the BIG deal with Bethel?

  i was at my jw's friends house a few days ago and she had a jar on her counter that had "trip to bethel" written on it.. there was some chump change inside.

  i never asked.

  is bethel kind of like mecca?.

  Skepticism of others

  i invited 2 of my jw employees out to go out with a bunch of women....a night on the town.

  yeah!.

  anyway, all we are going to do is go to this pottery place where we can sit around and paint pottery together and then go out for a bite to eat.

  Looking to Lose Weight in 2007?

  many of us make this a priority after the holiday's to take off a few extra pounds.. i had a baby in august of 2005 and have a handful (or more) of extra around the mid-section and vowed last new year's that i was going to get fit and take off the poundage.. well, here it is january of 2007 and i think i weigh a bit more than i did last year.

  geez, age + baby + sugar addictions = a big problem (lol).

  so, i found a new 'way of eating' that blows my mind.

  Never asks me questions of her own...

  my employee and i have a friendship outside of work, even though i am her boss and about 15 short years her senior.

  okay, i'm kindof a mentor friend.. anyway, she is a jw doing 50hrs a month in service and is a 2nd generation jw.

  if it wasn't for her mom i swear she would jump ship.. i talk very openly about my faith, church, youth group, people in need and how we handle that...etc.. she never asks me anything.

  the gals i know always look put together.

  i live in a hick town where it pours rain and is muddy.

  No life of her own

  one of my employee's is jw.

  actually, i have been blessed with 2 of them but one of them was raised a jw and the other was recently baptized and has been studying for 2 yrs.. both of these young ladies are very pleasant to be around and i truly enjoy being around them.

  the young woman who has been raised jw is a peach.

  Since when are JW's "Christian"?

  i remember when it was "christendom" and christians were a dirty word.. now the wt is touting that they are "christian"?

  when did this happen and why?

  was it a planned event, a strategy of sorts?.
