  I get this nagging feeling something big is about to happen ?

  i don't know what wether the watchtower is going to implode or the begining of ww3 is about to happen.

  something big !.

  but something makes me feel weird, not afraid but ready for it.. maybe it is the psyco in me..

  Do you know what your last name means and where it comes from...?

  i have always been interested in what last names mean and where they come from and if someone famous in the past is related to us because of the same last name.

  my last name comes from greek but my family is not greek.

  it dates back to the year 700ce and it was around the time in europe when people were starting to get last names - i'm talking about the general people not monarchs.

  I don't remember what website I found the info about my last name. It was soooo long ago. I even found three different - but similar - family crests.

  My last name is "Spanish" but again, as I said before it was originally taken from the Greek language. Lots of people though, ask me if it is Italian lol...

It means "bow maker" bow as in bow and arrow. It was adopted by a family of knights from Spain, in the Aragon area. They served the kings and queens and some of their descendants were members of the Spanish Inquisition. - talk about infamous ancestors lol

  On my mother's side, my last name was started by a Princess of Spain. So, I probably have royal blood :-D.

  Any other fancy stories about last names?

  ok, here's something i noticed when i was in the book study this week, related to the "seven time" prophecy, the verses are daniel 4:19-32.

  related to the interpretation of nebuchadnezzar's dream, daniel wish the dream to apply to those who hate nebuchadnezzar and the interpretation, to his adversaries.

  verse 22 says explicitly that the big tree is him, nebuchadnezzar.

  David's line never ended. Just because God didn't allow his grandson and others descendants of David to rule as kings, doesn't mean nor imply David's line ended. His line was alive. They just didn't rule.

  we know the wts will never except woman as elders.in the last year as a member of jwd,i have learned more from blondie and mary than any elder in my congregation.all the elders in my congregation look like they go thru the motions.they are more like policy enforcers than teachers.. do you think that by excepting woman, some men would be embarassed to how little they know?

  does the wts know some woman would better teachers?

  I think Mary and Blondie would do a great job. But since they're both so pretty, they'd be accused of Jezebels lol.

  I also think they don't deserve to be just elders. They both would have to be on the GB. Providing food at the proper time. They sure wouldn't make as many mistakes as the WTS has hahaha. Oh yeah and throw Mouthy in the group too.

  1) I thought Jonah was an Israelite? If not, where was he from?

  2) Well, yeah. There were people who were not Israelites but were blessed by God. Very true and I'm sure there are people who are not Christians who will be saved and are blessed by God.

  3) justahuman - who are those who are doing all those things? You think I'd be asking if I knew who they were? If it were that simple who the tru Christians are, I think people wouldn't be so divided.

  How is Russell responsible for your family's misery?

  I really think Russell was a sincere believer. He wasn't as strict as Jehovah's Witnesses are right now. He was liked and loved by most if not all of his followers while he was alive and even after he died. It's now that the WTS doesn't follow what he taught - granted some of his teachings were wrong but I'm not saying he was right; just that he was sincere and very different from the WTS presidents that followed him - and pretty much only talks about him when they talk about their "humble beginnings".

  I still am not sure if he was a Mason. If that is true, then that's just wrong because why would he be a Mason and then create/start a group that had way diff. believes from the Masons and then deny he was one?
