  I just can't shake this feeling about the word Jehovah, and Now I know why

  had to do a little historic research to find out that jehovah is actually 2 hebrew words compounded: yah(h) and hovah.

  yah(h) means: "i exist," "i am," "i create," or "i will be or bring into being.

  hovah means: ruin, mischif, but yet,it's root, havvah,translates as: "calamity, iniquity, mischief, mischievous (thing), naughtiness, naughty, noisome, perverse thing, substance, very wickedness.

  a, why do jws claim that elijah didn't go to heaven?.matter in fact, why do most say he was sat down in another part of the world?

  nwt has for philippians 3:11.

  " [to see] if i may attain to the earlier resurrection from the dead.".

  the greek doeas not contain the word "earlier" - nor does any other translation i checked.

  Do JWs even know the definition of the Sabbath is?

  most jws i come across tell me that the sabbath is when they partake in the memorial ::hard laughts:: do most jws think this way?

  the reason this came up, is i was doing research on the sabbath, and from what i have found....for those who are still christians, we are in error because we practice it on sunday.

  doing teh research of the history of the sabbath on sunday, it seems like teh catholic church is doing more harm then good.

  IMO, that can be seen in a few ways. Acts 20:7 can be interpited as Paul preached on Saturday Night, and then left on Sunday Morning ta Midnight. BUt the 2nd paragraph has nothing to do with the Sabbath. As I did my research, even Jesus observed the Sabbath on Saturday. I have never came across scripture where Jesus or GOD actually changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday.

  im beginning to wonder if its even taught in the hall.

  from what I understand, this same ID Card Technology has already been approved in Mexico, Canada and MAY HAVE been approved in some EUropean COuntries as well.

  eran, not many have, until the Real ID Act was signed into law about 2 years ago. Once you read up on teh Real ID Act, you begin to think that Revelation 13 is VERY Literal.

  If Rev 13 is to be taken Literally, that means that very few, if any Believers (Christians) will be around during this period. To paint a Picture, Revelation 13 takes places before the Battle at Armageddon.
  
  Until recently, everyone thought that this was symbolic...until the development of the RFID (VeriChip/Xmark), RFID Powder (Hitachi) and Mondex (Mastercard)became known, as well as the Real ID Act signed into law in 2005. The key wording here in Rev 13:13-16 is that that no man will be able to buy or sell without this mark (see the Real ID Act) and those who will not take this mark, and renounce God, will be Beheaded. The Real ID Act, which goes into effect Jan 1, 2010, will prevent ANYONE without it to use any Government programs, open or even use any Bank Accounts,and even travel VIA Airplane or Train.
  
  Now, I'm not saying that the Real ID is indeed the Mark, but the REAL ID act, the Verichip and the Mondex Smartcard all has the potential to usher in this Mark in the future.
  
  1 last thing, a Jewel-Osco Supermarket in Chicago is test marketing a system where you pay with your fingerprint...no cash or credit cards. That is how far along we are with this "Smart" Technology.

  I'll just say that it will put a damper on their "Living through Armageddon" hopes since this part of Revelation they do take Literally.
