Will Goram was our circuit overseer @2004-2007. He was respectful and reasonable when I brought up the concern that eventually put me out of the "Truth". His demeanor and humility during that long and private (one other local brother) discussion was the nearest thing to encouragement I ever received for trying to follow my conscience. I have warm memories of him and Bonnie.
The next CO after him wanted my head on a platter.

in which of the gametes is the soul or the information for the soul stored, sperm or ovum.
is it inserted at fertilisation, some other point during embryogenesis or is it during fetal development?
What about twins that don't separate--Siamese twins?
How to parse that out?
the answer is, of course, that jesus did not shun peter.. jesus expected human weakness to reveal itself.
(matt 26:34 jesus said unto him...before the rooster crows, thou shalt deny me three times.).
jesus did not judge people for their weakness.
What a clear distinction between Jesus dealing with us and the way the cold-hearted Corp treats us. They truely are the evil slave.

I'll follow Jesus' love wherever it went.
just recently a family i know well (non-jw) big problems.. i thought my family (my ex and my kids) and other jw family.
members were dysfunctional but no comparison to this family.. i have known families that became jw,s, their famliy were.
dysfunctional but in a strange way their family became strong.. my thought , if you have one child that goes amok that ,s not.
When I started getting myself and mykids into counseling I came to think this:
It may be that the main difference beyween two families having similar problems is one knows they are screwed up and are trying to do something about it--that's being functional.
The other family just pretends nothing is wrong or just scapegoats the ones that are acting out.But they don't try to get help. That's disfunctional.
It takes a while to comb the tangles out of a troubled family.
