Bee Population

has anyone heard about the new scare about the decline in the bee population?.

i guess the bees are not returning to the queen bee and they are dying.

trying to figure out why this is happening but if it doesn't turn around, all of us will be 'starving' in 4 years.

I dont mean to sound as a dooms day preacher or a person who thinks the witness right, because they have a lot wrong, But this is just another problem that is facing mankind and it is becoming evident that we are facing the catastophies the Bible has predicted. Man is in serious trouble.

It reminds me of Christ words, "what I say to you I say to all, keep on the watch".

I Need A Comeback Statement

when i suggested to my jw sister that the wts has caused so much pain and division in our family, she told me it was because my brothers and i had made the choice to leave.

we were responsible for the division---not the society.

we are the ones that chose to leave the love and protective shelter of jehovah's organization and we are the ones that have the choice to return to the fold.. i need an intelligent comeback, preferably one that will plant a seed, not one too sarcastic.

Jesus talked about division caused by loyalty to god and pure worship. Not loyalty to an earthly organization run like any other business or some pyramid scheme. Did Jesus foretell of his own earthly organization that would be worth millions of dollars? Or did Jesus not have a place to lay his head? Did he have a roof over his head? What about a highrise with a view of Manhattan?

So, am I to asume, that the majority of people posting on this site, does NOT believe in the Bible and can actually not say, looking at the world in general, that something BIG is coming, eventually?

I for one believe in the Bible and I do feel there is a day of accounting and that something BIG is going to happen, I just don't believe that the God I serve is so cold hearted and is going to kill off everyone that is not a witness. To me, it is evident that the world is losing it and things are setting up for something major, something that is not going to be good for either us or the next generation.

Just because I left the witness doesn't mean that I dont agree with the Bible and the Biblical explaination of the culminatioin of worldly affairs.

funny now that i read the bible without any man made ideas, this thought hit me in luke 15:20-24, remember this is one of the basis for "reinstatement" into the "christian congregation".

is the year basis of coming back after attending weekly meetings really neccassary?

also note that paul most likely written both 1st and 2nd corithians within a year span.

People are not d/f`d if they are repentant.

Now they can read hearts too, I guess everyone they reinstate is repentant? What about the many who only go back for family and not becasue they believe one word they say.

yes they are like the cold hearted brother and not like the Father who is willing to forgive.

Take away the inspiration

it seems to be that the society do their best to discourage any form of personal inspiration.

they almost 'turn off' the ability for people to think that holy spirit spoke to them, the music doesn't even have any feeling to it.

its boring as hell.. i believe the reason is to keep dubs under the thumb incase contrasting images came up - that of what the society says is right and what you believe to be right.

So true and as Amazing posted the Society squelches any independant thinking and yet the Bibles says in Proverbs to keep searching as for hid treasure, keep looking, keep asking,

Jesus said to keep knocking, searching and asking.

I dont think this was the instruction of just a few who live in NYC who proclaim they are THE channel.

Have you ever noticed, the Society is never wrong, never, not once, never.

Humilty is a great quality, I have yet to see it from this organization that does nothing wrong, everyone else has the problem.
