  New arrangement for field service?

  i don't know if this is a worldwide thing because i didn't go the meeting where the arrangement was announced, but it's being done in my congregation anyway.

  during those 6 months the member assigned to the pioneer is meant to make time to work with the pioneer as much as possible, so they can strengthen each other.

  the idea is meant to be that eventually each member of the congregation will get a go.

  i'm not after a discussion on the rights or wrongs on abortion, what i'm asking is whether or not your views have evolved over time.. perhaps leaving the watchtower was enough to allow your true feelings on abortion to find expression.

  maybe abortion is one of those subjects where you still find yourself in agreement with your old jw self.

  did becoming a mother change your perspective in any way or solidify your views?.

  whenever i have brought up the subject of who will be saved at armageddon with a jw they always, without exception, deny that it is a teaching/ belief of the wt that everyone but them are going to be destroyed.

  there's a very good reason for this of course.

  how many people can go through life constantly aware that at any moment god is going kill 99.9% of the population?

  i recently saw my jw brother and sil and listened to them talk about poor sister sick(o) who has been diagnosed with major mental problems.

  she went to the doctor's and the doctor supposedly began to berate her out of the blue because she is a jehovah's witness.

  now the family wants to have the doctor formally rebuked for his so called "discriminatory comments".

  Yes we are responsible, how I did it was for two full years, I could not read the Bible or pray, so hurt, disillusioned, angry and every other negative attitude, then one day it hit me

  "Stop taking out on God what men and an organization that I willing joined and has misalligned themselves as God's spokesman, so I returned to what I originally became a witness for in the first place, God's Word.

  This time without man made influence or for any other reason except, God deserves it and He is my Helper and Teacher with Christ

  I had it wrong for 22 years, glad God disciplined me to get out, I benefited

  millions now living will never die [ or did they]

  i just cant understand why the watchtower still holds to this convention from 1933, that millions now living will never die.my nan was born in 1925 and shes in her late 80s.so who was the watchtower refering to when they said that they would never die.it coudnt have been people who were middle aged back then or older.and i cant believe they were just talking to people between the ages of 7-20 or so either that wouldnt fit the " millions " hype.yet its still refered to today in meetings and in the revelation book as a very important event.
